I bought three of these a few years back. Added the wood grips and extra mag for each. Cleaned up nicely and made very nice 1911 style plinkers in 9mm ! Gave two of them as gifts to friends. All have performed very well.

i bought one for $99 around twenty years ago that was nice. i wish i still had it. it didn't have the 2 circular grindings like these newer imports. i now have one of the $199 ones in good condition that is alright but not as nice as my first. it shoots well.

$299 ain't too bad these days. I paid $270 back in 2017 for VG hand select, with extra mag from J&G. Not sure if box matched or not. They're great little shooters.

Nice gun. I have one, had failure to extract and feeding issues. Finally fixed it. I removed the bluing since it was in bad shape, polished the metal with Mothers metal polish, looks great now and shoots nice. The gun shoots a little low, elevation cannot be adjusted. That's the only issue I have with it. Otherwise, the gun feels good in.my hand, slim which makes it easier to conceal. At one point J&G was selling them for $150, now they are costing double or more .

Eventually a slow rust blue for this one. But imma enjoy it as is for now.
