If you want a cheap alternative to the dice that we use, you can put two colors of marbles, poker chips, etc. in the bag and then use chipboard tokens to set the actions.

I have a bunch of war machine models that I've never really gotten into and I'm painting them up for starbreach. I was originally going to try to make my own system based off of the Wrath and Glory system. The star breach system seems pretty cool. Slight homebrewing for more of a melee experience

Really dig this ruleset. I'm working on mashing it with parts of Core Space, to get a very narrative focused, solo homebrew going. Incorporating the NPCs/traders (translating stats), the AI system for them and the character inventory system. Essentially the RPG elements. It's starting to look a lot like a TT version of the Mass Effect (not Andromeda) games. Opens up a lot of really cool narrative opportunities.

The game looks realy great! That there are only so few dicerolls needed to resolve shooting an Combat realy seme to speed up combat. I´m looking forward trying it, as soon as I´m done with my exam!

Does this game have a community anywhere? No one here on you tube seems to be playing it other than "gaming geek" and "guerrilla miniature gaming". It had such potential, I wish it had more content to support it

Hey J! Yes. There’s definitely a solid community of gamers still supporting and playing this game everyday! In particular, there’s a flourishing FB group of about 1600 players from around the world, and the Instagram has well over 2000 active followers. A new solo/co-op mission based expansion for the game is currently being developed as well. Slow Death Games (the game’s publisher) also just released new order dice and is going to put out a few more games within the coming year. Cheers!

It took me a while to find them. Robot with big fists and 2 paris of hands (Ex-warbot, Diehard miniatures) Snake solders also from Diehard mini's. Alligator scifi solder (Antediluvian Miniatures) Pulp scifi robot (Bombshell Miniatures) I have seen the big orc axe guy before but dont remember where he is from.

It sounds like this game is a little bit of Bolt Action, and a lot of 40K. This is not a bad thing - anything that allows people to play with their existing minis (some of which GW has made obsolete or useless in whatever ruleset they've changed to this year) is a good thing. Furthermore, I feel like I'm making a statement by spending my hobby dollars on people who care about their games and players. I gave up on GW about a year ago now, so I think I'll buy this game so I can continue to play with the painted stuff I haven't sold.

I find the dice a bit obtrusive and on the face of it they're entirely unnecessary.. Is there any good reason to get them?

It's included in the rules which you can download for free. I think someone made a fillable PDF of it--join the Facebook group to get it.

Nice game design. combat seems to slow it down, but that's just my opinion.
