true...there is a definite melody to his pieces...melody is lacking in today's modern music completly...more melody in songs from the 70s than now on the radio. I'm a big fan of Rutter...how does he create so many beautiful pieces..he's so prolific and a legend.

My former Catholic school's retired music teacher used this song in the Christmas Show in 2017. It is extremely beautiful. The choir was mostly 3-8th graders, but the hearts and the love they put into this song is what counts. She likes John Rutter's compositions. This brings back many wonderful memories.

My very favorite John Rutter Carol for Christmas but I return to this site often during the year for the beautiful music. Our church performed this decade ago and I have loved it ever since.
