@@smoothsa420 during this patch badgers and NDB’s are extremely effective. You can mix it up with ballistics if you want since they did increase the ammo count for ballistics, your call.

@@smoothsa420 sawbacks might be a good pic for ballistics. Each individual shot does a lot more damage than a Gatling gun round and the projectile speed matches the Badgers or an NDB’s so you’ll have good fire convergence.

Absolutely love the Tana myself, my only gripe (which I have for all the Reliants) is that I wish the cargo/back area was just a smidge taller so you could fit two SCU boxes tall. Would make it feel less cramped.

a very nice ship, with the unique feature of the moving wings that makes it so star wars. it’s one of the first ships I buy with in game money, even though I don’t see a real use compared to other better ships for its role.

Had the Kore version of this for a while until it got to the point where i had the bug where the wings wouldn't actuate when landing gear was deployed...great lil ship and love the look!🤙🏽o7

Flying my Kore in combat recently I found that it was very easy for NPC ships to run into me, which often resulted in my losing a wing. Also I tested this just now and you can't get out of your seat unless the landing gear are down, even if your wings are horizontal. So you can't get up and walk around during quantum travel. Still love the ship, though!

The Reliant series really is a unique design, so hopefully they rework them to be properly up to metrics - the Tana getting one extra SCU of storage, and maybe a pair of armor and weapon racks would make this a really good ship for a pair of friends running entry missions.

A friend of mine got stuck in his Tana when it got soft killed in combat while the wings were vertical, we tried to get him out but hearing you just cant exit the seats at all when the wings are vertical explains that

I love that the Reliant series is in a better place. If I wasn't trying to keep my fleet under two dozen, I'd be tempted to keep one. I like the Tana myself. It's a really cool ship, and I really wish the co-pilot could still use _both_ turrets (when they're guns), or leave the one they're not using as a pilot-controlled gimbal, but it's still fun. Now with the Pulse, the Kore and Tana are great starter ships. My wife's a photographer and is sitting on her Tana to Mako CCU for when that's ready.

One of my favorite ships, I love the design, it makes me feel like it's a bounty hunter ship in star wars. The problem is the large cross-section. If you're fighting a good Pilot you die real quick. It really needs a 3rd shield slot to make it competitive with other light fighters, and the straf movements are pretty unimpressive.

The gilroy gimbals say they take s4 guns. Still only take s3. I suspect with 4.0 reworks it will get the s4 making it much better. This ship is a great escort (imo) or militia craft for fridge space.

I think you may have missed the point of this ship a little. It's great in DPS no doubt, but did you check out it's missile bank? It's a mini missile boat! Which isn't great as it stands with the state of missile game, but in the future!!

the copilot for whatever reason controlling only one turret to fire is worth a mention. its a very stupid and weird limitation and basically just takes the control from the pilot of one of the guns while giving the copilot too little to even be effective.

I do like the manoeuvrable wing. Wonder how it flies in atmosphere while vertical? V-Tol needed for vertical flight in atmosphere?

Back in 3.18 when I had a Reliant, horizontal wings gave better pitch and vertical gave better yaw in atmosphere.

Do not fly the tana in 3.23 It is completely broken from having packages fall through the glitch texture of the ship. And it randomly explodes for no reason while flying. I will definitely be melting this ship that i've owned for years during this IAE. I'm tired of owning it after so many years and never being able to reliably fly it since it is always bugged.

The kore was my pledge ship back at the beginning. It eventually turned into a merchantman, but I missed my kore so much I went back and grabbed a tana

Hello EvenLease, thank you for this video of my beloved Tana. I like this ship because of its ability to transform and the living space onboard. The Cockpit is one of my most liked ones in Star Citizen. Hopefully CIG will bring the gold standard to this ship soon. The Storage Area can also be a Suit Locker, I don´t know. I have loved my Tana for years! It is working great in 3.24, even the bed logging is good in space. So much firepower and the armor will pay off later. It should get a storage increase or suit lockers with the gold pass. Best view of any starter by far. It's my daily driver.

Great ship! I just picked up the mako and I’m not sure why but I love the color and the little computer set up (worthless right now) but after adding all the guns onto it, have it set up nicely (: view from the cockpit is amazing! 😊

The Reliant still needs some fixing. But I really do love this ship. CIG discriptes it as a skirmisher. If you use this skirmish taktik, it works well. I hope, with gold pass it will get some love :)

The tana is very cool. But it needs a golden pass. Also, even when the wings are on the horizontal, you can't leave your seat. Only when the engines are off and you have landed

Engines can be on and doesn't need to be landed you just need landing gear down still a nuisance though

The Reliant could really use a gold pass. One of the things the devs need to figure out is how the player is going to escape if they soft death while in vertical mode, because as of now you are stuck in cockpit if that happens. And maybe this is the reason they are taking their time, they might not have figured it out yet.

Back in the early days the Kore was my favorite ship to cruse around the verse in with my Dust Up armor on, I love the Star Wars vibe it exudes and it just looks so damn cool. I traded the Kore for a Tana eventually but haven't had one in my fleet for years now but after watching this it makes me want to grab one again and I have the in-store credit just sitting in my account waiting for the Zeus ES release so what the heck I'm gonna. I am heading over to RSI to add grab one again, it will be a fun blast from the past to mess with and now I can take one of my Mirai Pule with me. Thanks for the review. Edit: Done I got the Kore even though the Tana was available.
