ive been doing this a while now my rep is at member and about to get to the next level im mainly doing small planet runs and member contracts give me 90-100k a contract im making between 500-600k an hour the things that have made things easier is buy an atlas for 80k also preload each station by pulling out everything into the hanger then loading your ship in stacks per stop so you can unload one chunk without double checking all the time ... also if you get an verification error when you try to lower the elevator just make sure everything on the elevator is only 1 unit high dont stack on top of each other ps. if you cant complete a whole contract, like if one place is bugged just continue on and carry on and deliver what you can, you can submit the contract as long as youve done at least 25%. you'll be paid out less but wont affect your rep

So far my favorite ship has been the cutlass black . I recently switched starter ships from the mustang to the cutter rambler and I'm finally in a much better place. This game does wierd mission meta stuff so the differences between 1 scu of cargo and zero can make or break the starting experience.

My guess for the best way to make money period. Will be reclaimer you can sell then from 2500 to 2200. For each sku of construction materials that is so broken you make 846k off one one big ship that takes probably 2 minutes to destroy

My favorite ship is still the Aurora because I have full visibility and can get in and out of anywhere super fast and efficiently. And with an upgraded quantum drive I can traverse the entire system before needing to refuel.

Protip: At most 3 missions to at most 3 different destinations. Any more tends to break/crash the mission system and you wont get paid. Also go to destinations that both start and end with a hangar, so this means stations, the Stanton spaceports, and distribution centers. Outpost freight elevators tend to break very hard at the worst possible time.

Me and a buddy tried this yesterday at multiple stops in pyro. An organization had all the stations on lockdown. Soon as you leave the station, you would be sent back home with nothing. The basement dwelling, cheeto eating, no-lifes got nothing better to do I guess.

Protip: dont stack too many of these kinds of missions. At most 4, usually 3, and keep destination list as short as possible.

Cargo missions won't work. I spent at least two hours this morning doing hauling missions and haven't made a penny. Cargo elevators keep screwing me over.

Thats if there are no hanger request wait times and the hanger actually allows you to land without closing on your ship as you enter.

200k/hour will never get you out of a 300i or an Aurora in a reasonable amount of time. CIGs entire intention of 4.0 was to make the grind so oppressive that people desperately spend money to buy ships to avoid the grind. This game is going to garbage. Don't ever give them another cent until they change their ways.

if you play 15 hours a week which is a little more than 2 hours a day, that 3m for a culture where you can make even more money. so no it’s not bad at all and that’s 15 hours for a ship that costs $175

@@biffrapper It would, but then people would rent it straight off the bat and the early game economy would be non existent. You would have no use for lots of smaller contracts and jobs. Also wouldn't need to buy cheaper ships unless you just liked them and wanted them for fun
