I've just tested the Mustang Alpha update. A bit clunky visually but functionnal. Loading/unloading cargo containers will no longer be a frustrating task.

@@renaudabbadie8154 that is good there was an update for the Aurora as well for loading, these are small QoL improvements but they need to overhaul some of these ships so they are online with all gameplay like engineering, ship inventory and storage.

@ A simple weapon/multi-tool rack would also be a fair addition on certain starter ships, whether in the interior or hidden somewhere in the hull.

honestly I don't expect them to fix everything this release, just the main issues. The next version (4.1.x) is where i expect most of the fixes to come along with several patches in that cycle to fix even more

Someone tell CIG they would sell a lot more paid guns and armor sets if you could claim or recover them after being lost. Imagine buying a ship that you pay money for... Then can use once per patch until it gets lost. That's what's going on with paid guns and armor currently. THAT should the very top of the list of shit to fix.

They already have enough money...money isn't the issue...its the spaghetti coding that makes it a problem...but they are slowly unravelling it...not a easy job i assume... Making hotfix after hotfix because a bunch of nerds get angry because of a not working live environment... I would gladly give up a year of live versions to have them fix the whole damn thing

One of my BIGGEST gripes is coming to a sudden stop every time we run down any stairs, it drives me nuts 😂 I really REALLY hope that they fix THAT first or the wifes gona get it 😈 😜 😂

Yes, stealth components are taking a hit. Intrepid with stealth is looking like much less stealthy than it was, but still pretty good overall.

What I'd like to know is whether Crusader MERC missions are broken? I've spent a week doing missions and I'm still a Jr Security Contractor. I've had more progression at my real employment at a faster rate than these missions. Anyone know if they are bugged?

They always say the fix stuff, but it's like the fix 10 thins en make 40 more problems' en they have to stop using PTU servers testing because it has been proven in the PTU they don't have problems en than go to the live it has many more bugs

Really looking forward to see 4.0.1 go live, the current 4.0 preview looks more like a repetition of 3.18 …. Server Error - Please Wait ….. Been trying every server several times and no matter what I have not yet been able to carry out a single mission in Stanton …. Server Error - Please Wait …. Anything from endless log-in screens, to …. Server Error - Please wait …. Inventory terminals not working, ASOP terminals not ….. Server Error - please wait … working, Ship vanishing in front of you, cargo elevators not working, Mission markers not showing ….. Server Error - please wait …. …. Oh, and I forgot to mention the ever so frequent server errors. 3.24.4 is working very well, very few people there … probably for a good reason 😊 A Star Citizen Starter pledge should come with a free NVME 1Tb SSD if we are to have 3 game client installed

I have found out for me that the server errors in 4.0 are way more frequent in CRU and Microtech, while hurston only has them occasionaly.. i don't like hurston and do my missions mostly on CRU normaly but i had a server 2 days ago where i got the error literally every 2 minutes with 5-10 minutes wait time, i did not even dare to log out because i feared i'd loose my Access to the game again... So it took me a while to get away from cru and then log off, switching servers and continue playing on hurston 😅

I found the game works better after a server error. If you quit during one you get locked out. Also if your getting the 60016 error trying to play with friends/join them. Set your server selection to best and then try.

We as a community are making it difficult to fix this game...we constantly whine to keep up a live environment... They should quit with the live ptu for at least a year and focus on fixing the spaghetti code...
