Already Star Citizen 3.23 is the biggest patch for Star Citizen in years but one small addition adds a lot of speed. The Mirai Pulse is a very compact sleek hoverbike which can fit into almost anything. I get hands-on and give you my first impressions. Spoiler alert, it's fast.

Cant wait to test this thing out. Imagine getting people together and having their ships in the air lined up like a race track, and using the Pulses to zoom across them. My in game name is QuarthTries so if you see a corpse on Daymar with a wrecked pulse, you know what happened.

Yeah, I absolutely love the pulse. My buddy and I have been packing them in the cutter and doing bunker missions, parking a good way out so we don't get shot by the turrets and take the pulses in. It feels so cool, and they handle surprisingly well, especially if you ride them uncoupled and G-safe off.

The detail on the pulse is so nice and I especially love how thought was taken in to how it was designed with all its components in it, and how the racing variant has the intake where the gun was on the other one, like it is modular. And the attention to detail in it aswell with how the vents and other components visible on it. -Flymno

Yeah, SC still needs more advanced and realistic vehicle physics for ground vehicles, as well as less arcadey handling for theoretical grav-cycle vehicles like the Mirai Pulse here.

Loved the Pulse. Need to buy it though. I'm conflicted whether to buy the Pulse or wait and see what comes in Invictus. If nothing in Invictus that I like, I'll go for the Pulse with Crossfire paint. Makes it look more aggressive. Tried my friend's pulse lx, damn its fast and absolute fun to ride. I tried it on the frozen ice lakes of MT.

Really like the Pulses, and now with bunker turrets no longer shooting at hover bikes, makes the Pulses much more useful since they will fit in nearly anything with an interior.

Got test the bike and it totally rocks compared to all them other ones! firstly its size, then also getting in places that usually YOU cannot go to unless on foot, and then it also reminds me of my Kawasaki Ninja 900 i had back in the mid 80´s......HEHEHEHEe....yeah I am an old geezer! Anyhow tested it with friends doing lotsa DC missions, and it is just great for that! ...Also took it into a cave.....and even took it into Serafim station for a spin! I love this bike. I've never spent cash on a ground vehicle in this game, but this was an exception. I love how small it is, and despite that and it's sleek design, they physically managed all the components in there. I rode a kawasaki ninja for years as a daily driver, so when I saw a hover motor cycle in the game, I had to support the project.

I’m excited for, once the random explosions get fixed, you can use these bikes as a sneaky way to get into sniping positions dealing with the ground bounty missions. Not only is riding up on a bike feeling like Tetsuo’s gang cool, but it’s got enough storage to be helpful.

The Pulse are very fast, but extremely fragile, that's their tradeoff. T3 medical beds should now offer respawn points, recommend using the medical Pisces for excursion (Pule might still fit!)

It can fly as close to the ground as you want pretty much. Just down strafe until you are as low as you can go.
