Really wish they would stop making vehicles so ridiculously wide just to not fit in spaces. There is no reason those wheels cannot be under the bed and under the arm things on the cab. It would look more real and less like a Tonka toy.

It's actually 14kmph(9mph) slower then the Mule. But yes, it's speed is fine.

Actually, it replaces my cyclone that can only take 1SCU. Mule only takes 1(2 SCU), is slower and harder to drive. The CSV is more like a Unimog. And you can just dump boxes on the bed. Easy.

@@errgoth Well whatever rocks your boat but to me and the purpose it has to ferry cargo from storage to ship seems as about as useful as that Mule. In general at this stage land vehicles seem to have very little usefulness and this just adds to it.

@@GUnit2214 It's a tool. I use it for missions, obviously. Especially where you need to park far away or your ships gets blown up by npc's. So yeah, it's very handy to me. Plus, I enjoy it as a bonus. We all have different play styles. And that's a good thing.

@@errgoth Yes, that's the thing it's a tool, I usually take their presentation for these at face value. And this is marketed as a transport platform a vehicle that's supposed to help around a cargo area. The fact that we can take in bunker to farm stuff, falls in line with that bare usefulness i was talking about. Although idk how wise is to take an industrial vehicle to a combat zone. But as a tool to load your ships for example ferry cargo from loading bay to ship and have say 120-200 scu to load all in 1-4 scu sizes imagine how many runs you have to do back n forth to load it all. Sure beats carrying boxes around with the tool but still tedious stuff. If they make this into something that can carry more i can see it as a really useful tool for logistics. But for now it's just more of the same a step up from the mule, making that thing obsolete...

It's a Unimog type vehicle. It fares well in offroad areas. That's what it really is made for. If people want to use it for bunkers, why not. But you can park your ship next to bunkers entries. I don't see the need for it there, unless it's a bandits hole that needs to be retaken and you go in covertly. But for recovery missions, ground bounties and exploration(...) it is a very good tool. It is also made to assist with base building in rough/pristine terrains... later on. Honestly, I like the mule but it isn't that handy for off road. Normally it can hold 1 SCU in the back, but afaik, that's been "bugged" for ages, so you need to use the fork and the fork is on the front. Infront of the driver door. To say the CSV is just a step up is an understatement. Sure they share some brand visuals, but that's it really. The reason I normally use a Cyclone is because you can easily dump a 1 SCU container in the back and even some delivery boxes if the terrain allows it. The Ursa is just to big and the driving profile is atrocious on planets with atmo. Until something better comes along, the CSV is it. I seen the teasers for the upcoming vehicles, and there is one that holds my attention, but they are all to big for a medium ship which I prefer to fly.

It's kind of the Mule as it should have been. It lets you take big boxes to bunkers with turret coverage. It wouldn't surprise me if we see trailers/hover tools that you can attach to the back to haul more.

Having the 4 SCU really is a big plus. I love the Cyclone but looking at the CSV you can really see how much space the Cyclone wastes. Still have to test to see if it can hold "persons"
