As a real-life trucker, this is one of the ships that i want most. It just has a feeling of being like a tractor trailer. And the living quarters are perfect.

Caterpillar is awesome. Like multiple trailers. Actually more like old time railroad cars. But is this too much like real work? I never found that buying my own truck made economic sense. But it would have been a Volvo. Just needed about $1.20 per mile to make sense. But will I need able to buy ships and hire drivers in the game?

@joewesleypat their vision for the AI is you could hire a full NPC crew, and put them under the command of an NPC captain, and send them off to haul freight for you, while you go about your business doing whatever else you want to do. Maybe they could pick up and haul full ore bags from your mining ship. Or if your Reclaimer is full, they can show up with a Caterpillar or something, load up the holds and go deliver RMC to an outpost.

Grats to your channel success. Keep up the good work. Re. Corsair: it actually is a pretty good fighting ship though it's handling and is comparable to the Connie. The Corsair is less sturdy than the Connie or if course the 400i, but has the largest pilot controlled firepower of the bunch. I like it for combat. o7

It's great that you realized that the Hammerhead wouldn't work for you. I had one for a while when someone gifted me a ton of aUEC a long time ago. You try and organize crew for one of those and it takes quite a while to get 5 or 6 players together and by the time the last couple show up, the first ones are leaving because they've been waiting around bored for 45 minutes. That applies to a lot of large ships, but most of the others are at least somewhat useful with just a couple of people.

alot of people consider corsair good for combat... i've heard some people say it's a glass cannon as it's main feature seems to be it's firepower, also if you havent already set up a discord where you can talk to your community of viewers maybe you could find some experienced hammerhead players to join you on one... that sort of gameplay is sometimes what channels evolve into with multicrew gameplay finding the right fit isn't always easy but once you got your crew you should be golden! i'm a carrack owner myself and i've not put myself in a postion where I can use my youtube for sc vids (and by that I mean I have a backlog of other stuff I really need an editor who would have to work for free in my locale) but anyways once sorted I'll be able to get some more players involved i'm building an org atm for the idea of exploration later! but honestly I could do with some players interested now takes too long to load a carrack solo!

You make big mistake here (43:00). Taurus is great cargo ship - it was my daily after Frelancer MAX and Corsair, and while MAX was with me for couple of weeks, corsair was with me only for one (to many wing bugs, too small cargo and too many doors). Now after each wipe Taurus is my step on C2 journey. Also can go there where C2 can't.

I love my Taurus too. Such an underrated ship. Can fight, has lots of cargo space, super tanky and has tractor beam. It's my do everything ship.

Connie is a good ship. But it’s only have 96 scu. Comparing to Freelancer max 120 it makes runt with Max 25% more profitable with almost the same price. Also , I found Max more easier to get in and out without waiting for elevator. So for me personally - Max is better

@@robingood21century Again my friend, you did big mistake as Connie is not a Taurus and Taurus got 174 SCU of cargo, much better weaponry than MAX and is quicker and more responsive, plus it have much more rockets. Check it out as Adromeda, Pheonix, Aquila are not Taurus. I loved MAX but now i love Taurus more, so pls check it out why.

It's hilarious that even after all these years they can't even get the 3D model right when you're looking at it in the in game store. A screenshot like the pledge store would be SO much better till they figure out how to do it properly. But it really sums up CIG for you. They pat themselves on the back for half assed results and talk about how it's never been done before.

Not defending CIG, but the reason they are taking so long is because Cargo and hangars have the potential to make the game umplayable if something, anything, goes wrong. If you lose access to your personal hangar with tons of things, if ships cant be spawned, or if you lose cargo on the elevator, people will go crazy. Its better to make sure everything works, and takr their time. They can only launch it once, of its a mess, they need to fix it while others play, wich would make it much harder.

It will on PTU server so I think people will double-triple check those what I want from cig is Server Meshing , Pyro , new cargo system , new economics , Sq42 and… oh , seems like it’s already too much haha

How do you lock the ship to prevent from people sneaking in ? You mentionned it leaving the M2 at the beginning but I didn't catch the keybind or action !

You need to find “lock vehicle” in reticule of Vehicle actions. If I am right you can achieve this by siting in pilot sit , pressing alt + rmb or F+rmb , then go to vehicle options on reticule , and lock vehicle. It will be locked for everyone except you and your partymembers. To sneak in locked vehicle , you need to shoot ramp of it until it will be open on 20% , you can also do this with a hand gun on your fit , but if vehicle shielded - no chance (depending on your gun and vehicle shield level) I hope I answered on your question
