Thanks :) Crusader ships are so much fun to fly with their great Engine-to-Weight ratio. I currently prepare a Video with the Drake Corsair, and it flies like a space brick in comparison. But it has an absurd firepower instead...

why not the military version? i dont get why people go cargo version? unless you need the extra cargo space but it seems like you just go in and out

Yeah, I like the M2! She will be even more useful, when Armour is implemented in the game. Until then, unless you go Multicrew for the extra turret, the C2 is basically the same. Or is there another difference, that I have missed, apart from the nicer paint?

@@dj-firefly3901before armor is implemented the m2 and a2 have more ship hp. A2 having the highest of the 3. Outside of that a2 has the most turrets for multi crew and is the only one with the size 10 bombs for pilot for planetside missions.

@@hululuowo9860 cool! In a group we fly the Corsair most of the time, maybe we should try the A2 for a change. Lets see what the next patch brings. I hope the C2/M2/A2 will still be so versatile, useful and fun to fly!

@@dj-firefly3901 I would say the best way to look at the difference is the A2 is like our real life AC-130 with all its turrets focused on ground support, except instead of the c-130 airframe they instead put those massive guns on a C-5 Galaxy and outfit it with moabs. M2 being the other military variant without the moabs and has all but one turret removed, which gives it more cargo or vehicle room. C2 being the civilian version that goes full cargo. Still tanks but not as well as the other two. Corsair has more forward facing fire power while the A2 will have more ground center firepower. The Corsair also tends to be on the more squishy side for its size and A2 being a flying tank. Someone did the math and the Hercules A2/M2/C2 has enough qt range to do a round trip from the Stanton jumppoint to the furthest planet in Pyro and back on its fastest quantum drive. All in all it’s an impressive ship.

www.erkul.games/loadout/VlQph2ea See link above, that's my favourite loadout. AD5B (Size 5) Ballistic Gatlings give you more than enough firepower. Quantum Drive is upgraded to Pontes (Military Grade). Optional: Base shields are good. If you want to go crazy with shields, upgrade to FR-86, or FullBlock (FullBlock are cheaper than FR-86, and are still an improvement). In the Video I still had the stock shields.
