I feel like this is the first functional ground vehicle that could be used properly with the Drake Caterpillar. Park 2 in the forward bay, land on a planet, keep running the mined ore back into the Cat until it's filled, Profit. Or a Carrack.

The Greycat ROC's mining laser needs to be able to cut metal.. reasons being; if in a ground assault you could use one to cut open the doors or wall of a building to gain entrance without destroying the contents within.. unlike using a tank, missile launcher, or railgun. Also, it could be used to enter or disable ships on the ground without destroying them.

It seems that the light placement up top is to prepare for eventual cave mining with the ROC. We'll see the potential of the lighting then.

I think this will be a greater multi miner option for big ship owners with friends..... I think two would fit in a Carrack, four in a Valkyrie, six to eight in a C2/890.

@@Londiino CIG typically has released recently flyable ships into rental and/or purchase in game at least one patch after... gives a slight exclusive period for the ones that bought it at the store.

"What is my purpose?" "You draw money out of the pockets" I dont know what this thing is for? Ground mining? You need a darn ship to get that thing somewhere. A ship which can show mining nodes AND carry it. And why should you want to use it? You can mine nodes with the other two mining ships instead. drive-in mines arent existing, because the mining-mine-tech hasn't been invented by now.

I can picture miners renting one of these the first day after reset to get from 10k to 41k UEC so they can rent a Prospector. I'd probably rather do a few delivery missions.

If this game was representing post world war 1 flight then yes i love it but today my plane im captain of and my tesla is fully automated here in 2020 but we are play a game 900 years in future i cant enjoy the nonsense of my ships have 0 automation we can add a little automation just enough that the ships will hover or fly level and safe maintain altitude you set... but now we had winds knocking us around, gravity will try to fly you into ground or if you lift your nose using the w key and pitch nose up starts a crazy roll like i was taping q or e.... i suggest we all realize this nonsense and ask the devs to apply enough automation than the ships will hold position in winds and let us maintain last setting until we request a change in direction. since when did we decide its a good idea to build sub standard craft? i mean all reclaimers should have the manufacturer recall them all to make them perform to a reasonable standard. the main thrusters need to be efficient enough to leave atmo sorry nothing would leave earth if it moved as slow as these ships if they are to leave atmo they need to enter rocket or quantum mode activate and blast off as soon as you leave the retarded splines. or hell launch from pad and a plume of smoke will excite and the craft shakes violently entering quantom from the hanger AKA silo whos with me who thinks riding a rocket will be more fun and realistic than fly a space slug that if it flips over by accident you have to suicide!!!!
