Save the Mole saddle bags. Land, store, remove an item like a gun, save, reinstall the item and save. Now when you ship blows up or you claim it, still keeps the mole bags.

Mining is always nice. And the paint is super important, your such a target mining everything that you can do to reduce that. Personally I go for gold and bexalite, I only pick up quant right at the end if I'm super motivated.

Between scanning rock not functionning, cracked rocks that dont crack, laser that is offset to the bottom of the target (it should be right centered at the optimal distance) I regret the 3.22 that was playable. 3.23.1 is just bad cosmetic candy sugar for the eyes, with bad ergonomy. But nice video for newbees, welldone

Saw this and thought that is a well put together video full of excellent information I haven't flown my prospector in a while flew to cru l1 station didn't appear logged off in bed nearly died from lack of oxygen quickly put my helmet on, logged back in station was there yay!! landed on the pad game glitched my ship upside down after i had "successfully" landed and turned my engines off managed to get out and store ship phew that was close ran to refinery and bought a helix un stored my ship ran to hanger, dammit i forgot to equip helix, ran back to terminal stored ship equipped helix went to retrieve prospector "oh" i have to insurance claim my ship for some unknown reason wait 3 minutes go to hanger and the game has lost my ship apparently I have a new invisible stealth technology equipped prospector in Hanger 1 which is unable to be stored again, some days I hate this game other days I really hate this game. Great video it's a shame the game is such a pig sometimes, most the time, nearly always 99.9% of the time, the other masochistic .1% is what keeps me playing.

Hi, If you go for Hephastinite, Beryl, Boarse or Laranite when you only take 100% clean rocks. you get more money out of it the the 30% Tier 1 rule you have set your self. You would need to take only 38% or higher Tier 1 materials to compensate those TIer 2 materials. The aim would be a 100k profit from a refinery job with Dinyx Solventation with the normal Prospector bags. The Hofstede S1 is a good choice of a laser. The Klein S1 has a too high minimum power to break the secondary rocks and no module slot. It can be helpful in a team situaiton to crack bigger rocks with 2 Prospectors.

I'm using the Helix, not the Klein. You can always compensate the high min power with max distance, I've not had issues with the smaller rocks/fragments. I am also about to release a Part 2 video on this with some corrections and omissions! I almost exclusively use Ferron Exchange and I will discuss this in Part 2.

Great, informative vid. You can buy the pods at CRU-L1 refinery. Question is, how to you get them out of inventory onto your ship when you cannot use the tractor beam in armistice?

Ok, I'll think about that question differently now, if you mean so you can retrieve it and continue to a different port, I am not sure, I will test it and confirm tonight but I highly doubt it will reset.

Quick question for mining types, when mining on planets and moons, do you use VTOL for fuel efficiency? Does it help or hurt? Thanks 🤔

It would definitely be required if you are on a planet with a heavy atmosphere in over to maintain height and position. On places like Cellin, it's not required.

Nice Video. I made the mistake and took the Lance MH1 Laser head. i thought, the Prospector had only the possibility to put a S1 laserhead? So then i will soon change to a Helix or Hofstede-S2 And try it thisway:)

Hi. I think your conclusions/interpretations of the laser power in the modules might not be correct. For example the Focus3: you will not get an increase in power, but a decrease of 5%. Therefore 95% power of the lasers maximum. Thats why the figure is orange and not green. So the Reiger3 increases the lasers power by 25%. Thats why ist is written as 125%.

That sheet is a little off-putting where it shows the Laser power as a positive, when all other negative bonuses are shown as negatives.

For GOODNESS sake take down the video and add a little overlay that says HELIX 1 not HELIX 2 then put the video back up. I have just spent 100k on a useless mining head and wasted about 2 hrs trying to work out why it doesnt appear in the Utilities on my prospector. A little anoyed I must say!

@@ThunderballsGaming Thanks for that. And its not really a problem. 3 runs with the stock prospector and I will be good. Its just that beautiful as this game can be and is you never actually know when things go wrong if its you doing something wrong or its the game bugging out. Many a time I have mined for a couple of hours jsut to have the game blow up the ship of the Greyroc to mysteriously shut down and its always 50/50 if it was me doing something wrong or the game has decided just then to crap itself. You unfortunately late last night caught my frustration limit lol. My apologies. Great video btw I enjoyed it a lot and learnt a lot as well. Thanks
