Probably need player bases and played built components to make items to sell for an economy. Gathering mats and using them for something.

I think it’s a good start to show us the process of development but it is gonna need a lot of balancing with payouts, cargo amounts and rep rankings

Great video as always, I missed that SC Live and I am extremely excited for those missions. Its really cool to see that cargo delivery chart! It really hammers home (at least how I interpret it) that smaller delivery ships will always matter to get those smaller loads to outposts where it probably wouldn't be economically viable to send a big ship to do that job most of the time. It's one of the reasons I kept my original pledge ship (Freelancer base model) in my fleet. I want to take it out for the smaller jobs or though smaller jump points if that is ever a thing.

@@ZyvhurStudios It's going to be great. So many interesting things on the horizon. It was hard to resist the Zeus (it looks amazing, you have one right?), but I have a soft spot for the old lancer. It was neat that it got the components pass.

Really good video, Zyvhur. I'm looking forward to seeing how the cargo missions pan out. Currently, most of my in-game money is derived from ROC mining and salvage. If I can make as much as I make in those two careers with hauling in a Freelancer MAX at the end of stage two, I would be inspired to work for larger ships with an additional career. If not, I will continue on the path of miner and salvager until I make enough to extend my skill. I'm almost ready to get a Prospector.

that's a great strategy and its pretty similar to mine :)

i think its a rep grind and i hope it works, it might be cool to start for starter ships and allow them to start down the hauling profession. but we have to see how the missions progress through the levels and give opportunities to get bigger ships in game from the starter one would be nice.

Yes I hope so too, it seems to have good potential

This is why flexibility is so important within a fleet. I planned my fleet around different sized missions within the same loop. A cutter/Terrapin for courier missions. C-1/Freelancer MAX for small and medium cargo missions. Constellation Taurus, A2 Hercules for larger, more dangerous missions and a loaner C2 for the largest cargo missions. My Drake Ironclad and BMM will fit the bill for the largest missions I'll be taking. Had a Hull-D but I started leaning away from ultra large cargo hauling. Still can with the BMM anyway. As for trading vs company hauling. I disagree with you. Trading is much safer. Sure, the numbers can and should be higher but vs trading? If you lose, you lose your money. In company hauling you simply lose a bit of rep. You've got to climb a rep ladder or an overhead ladder so the risk/reward should be obvious. Double the income makes sense to me personally.

Yeah you're probably right but a hope they talk about balance when they show off the missions on the next SCL
