Been playing for about a year and a half, and never managed to get to more than 500k. I'm really bad at this game. Money wipe doesn't really bother me as I won't lose much.

There are many lucrative game loops, and foe big money it is easier with a good working Org.

lol i just sold all my loot the other day to try to break 400.000 . ok ill try to make 400k before the wipe. At least when you die you still have your money not gamers trying to break into your account for your money or cousins

I had no idea idea found out too late and lost 30MIL from the wipe AAAARRG!!. Could have bought all the ships i needed

Oh man, I am sorry for ya and shit happens. There will be at least one or two full wipes coming with 4.0 and the with StarCitizen 1.0 (Release) so don't worry to much about it. There are good Ingame ways to make money, but not as fast as it used to be. Salvage and mining still works quite well (see my latest videos) , if you lvl up reputation in Mercenary you get 134 k + per mission. If ya need help let us know. Enjoy the game

Did i understand correct they raised the price of ingame Reclaimer twice and double nerfed the amount of aUEC you could grind with this ship ?

No the selling price for RMC pa the price, just the mission pays less. In the ePTU this doesn't nessesariliy means it will be that way at release. But it could...

Sure and it depends what Ingame profession you want to go for in the end. But a ok way of making money in future is still mining: Get a Prospector (lorville) it's about 2 4 million. try those loadouts I discribe here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aX6cpJKDn82JsLssi=Ye2Fr9RnVJgr5qrf You have a game loop that provides you with an ok income. Rent a misc freelancer and sell the cargo. I suggest you to work from Arc L2 station (refinery) and mine on lyria and when you got more experience from wala. Bunker missions you can always do on the side to make some money and have a change of game. Choose 1 corporation where you want to level up your reputation. Because that's a grind so make sure you go all the way at 1 place first. If you want to learn ship combat: buy the Gladius. About 1.2 millions buy at lorville. It's A very small and nimble ship to learn dogfights. Level up your bounty hunter guild reputation and then do bounty hunting for 1 organisation (planet) . You can as well buy a cuttlas black 1.8 million and a ROC about 250000 and you can do ground vehicle lining with the ROC and put it in the back of the Cutty black. The Cutty has some cargo space to sell stuff and is OK to bounty Hunt with. It's an alrounder My personally I don't use allround ships any more. I get ships that are dedicated to one role to maximise the useful ness

Do we know when the wipe will happen? I’ve been grinding to buy a Corsair and I finally got enough but I won’t be able to get on the game for about a week… is this happening soon?

We don't know! speculation are going from this week or in rhe week before invictus. Which happens from 17th of May till the 29th of May. I recommend to do what you can to get your ship.

Well what ships you already have? But here is what could be useful: Mole - its a bit over 5 mills 2 to 4 person mining With the rest buy lining laser head (helix2 impact2 and hofstede2 with some Moduls Rieger 3, Fokus 3, stampede, surge and so on - for the posh pilot (like me) Origin 400i A bit over 6 million For the solo ballistic combat explorer (with option to have 2 crew member Drake Corsai (3. 5 million) But let me know what you already have and what field you would like to play in.

@@X-Wings-X-a-StarCitizen I've bought the mole, 400i, 300i, corsair, c2, Gladius, hurricane and the Vulture. Kind of to try a bit of everything, maybe a heavy fighter for 1 or 2 people?

Money and consumables are being wiped to encourage earning money and spending money. But the ships and components/gear are not planed to be wiped. But they could change their mind.

@DarthPoyner yes, it's an alpha everything can change always at any time best kn that is needed to best testing the game. I would like a full wipe - so we can test the new economy algorithms and the new pricing. To me it would be better. But last info we are having it's only money and consumables.
