I have a theory that the ship dissappearing when you're loading or unloading it is because the server "cleans up" the ship thinking its a discarded object. When it gets retrieved, any cargo space on the grid that was used no longer snaps, but your cargo is either gone or in storage again. You can fix it by periodically entering your pilot seat then take off then land again. At least that is what I've done.

shileds were offline, did you press O by accident? i rebound all those dangerous keys to include 'right alt' due to far too many incidents of me turning off shields, or engines, or weapons, and even full ship power by accident :)

You can configure the convergence at the menu, standard is 1500 meter but u can go lower

you dont. You have to learn the POI by trail and error. I had done the same mission many times with smaller ships and thought I was kinda there. The Taurus is of course much wider.

For me the yellow contract mission was bugged, ships stop spawning and I had to wait forever but no more enemy ships arrived. So I had to abandon the missions...
