Tried 4.0 on my 13900K RTX 4090 system. It was bad. It didn't take long for my player to be exhausted from running down the stairs to the tram. My player, shortly, died of a cardio-vascular event and I tried to respawn at the med center only to be stuck in a black screen. Tried rebooting and was loaded back into a black screen. Instantly deleted after that. Fantastic game...

They do need to help with getting people grouped faster to let multi crew be tolerable. Why not teleporters like Star Trek. Planet to planet. I mean, think about how few raids would have existed back in the day if warlocks did not have the ability to summon . As it was, it took many hours just to assemble 40 people which sometimes would result in the raid falling apart because people have lives and things were taking too long. Why this developer needs to seriously remember their backers have jobs and families and not an infinite amount of playtime . There is a reason why games like second life failed .

I heard recently that the contracts not accepting has to do with a reputation gate. You can now only accept shared missions when you have the required reputation for it. Upside is it now gives everyone the full payout apparently.

There's a very good reason why this game is a buggy mess. Its designed to look gorgeous, and have a ton of details with persistent objects. The problem is that our computers and the servers need to process a massive amount of data quickly and communicate that data in a timely matter or bugs appear. We simply don't have the technology to run this properly. As for players letting you down, an unfortunate percentage of people have no honor and are plain selfish, both in game, and in life. Which is why griefing in SC will be a real problem. And most players have not even begun to play. I've waited 8 years for wipes to stop so I can play without having all my grinding wasted, as I expect most other people have to. Can you imagine when hundreds of thousands of account holders decide they'll start to play on a regular basis. The System is failing now, and will be inoperable when the bulk of players start to play.

This game has veered so off course from what was originally promised its insane. Originally the Persistent Universe was to be at a scale where people could run private servers for their friends with their own rule modifications. Now they've changed it into 2000 player pvp mmo with none of the systems that make pvp work in other full pvp games. Just endless waves of griefers shooting other players on sight because why not?

I know a guy in school who plays this game. He is rich and his parents leave him alone to do his own thing. No input from them at all except cash . He has no friends in the real world and is very angry about that. He tried to be my friend but I am scared of him. He spends all his time griefing people in this game . Your dead right, today i warped into a belt in my vulture to get some panels, only to find a new player who had no idea how to use his ship it was one of those new fat thingies bobs that CIG rushed 4.0 out to sell. he was camping the belt waiting for dudes like me. he did not talk or message me straight away he attacked, but he was so bad he never landed a shot on me and i easily escaped, as i was in quantum, he then started to be insulting in chat calling my chicken and stuff like that because i was not stupid enough to sit there and let him kill me. i have played this game from the first days and i have never come across a player yet that was engaged in proper game play or was not toxic, i think most are call of duty kids, like you say this game is not multi play friendly

I remember playing this a long time ago on my 980ti (by far best GPU at the time) and i7 3770k. It ran horrible. Ill admit it looked fantastic. Probably the best I ever saw at the time. Originally it was not a scam. Chris Roberts is just a extremely incompetent person. Now they are just scamming to keep it going. In the next 5 yrs its all gonna come crashing down even the fans see the incompetence. I just hope CR spends the rest of his life in jail. He had alot of fun with his yacht and mansion on your dime. You can be salty about this game but it's the only one in production that is pushing the envelope as hard as it is. If you're happy with another version of Fifa or a new Assassin's Creed each year with no innovation then I guess you can expect a finished game each time with minimal bugs and you'll be happy in your safe bug-free and boring world. But, if you want a huge game with new technologies doing things that no other game has done AND you sign up for a game in alpha, then expect bugs and expect it to take a long time. Expect moments of greatness and moments of dissapointment. If you want pioneering work then don't expect the journey to be easy.
