2:33 Olli landing his Connie on Port Olisar. Dude, if you think the ERTs gave you a hard time, try this. Two nights ago, I was moving tons and tons of gear from Orison to PO. Loaded up my Connie, figured it was a simple trip, nothing could go wrong. When I was near landing at PO, I get radar locked, then missile locked. But it wasn't a regular missile, it was a damn torpedo...FROM AN ECLIPSE! Decoys don't work, so I died, in the middle of an armistice zone, just feet from landing on the pad. Now THAT is a reason to get pissed. Blowing up in an ERT is nothing by comparison to dying to a griefer. Anyway, love your content. Thanks for hearing me out.

Love your content. And some advice, don’t eject from your eclipse. Seat will not spawn with ship and you can’t get into the cockpit anymore. No matter where you reclaim it.

Fun fact you probably didn't know... missile targeting systems operate through the pilots visor via a HUD. If you use freelook you can aim the targeting system without pointing the nose of the ship. So you can actually aim while holding a flight path. Just know that the Missile can hit you. Flight velocity/angle will matter more when aiming via free-look. Luckily with such a slim profile and a perfectly centered payload delivery system, you have 340 degrees of almost 100% guaranteed aim-lock freedom. It's actually for this reason that the ship has no traversable interior; most of it's hull is either Stealth shielding or a missile loading system. You'll notice that you cannot arm multiple torpedos up at a time like you can on other ships. The retaliator, for example, can arm and fire 4 torps at a time.

17:00 what happened was that you killed the HH before the mission updated, so at the moment of destruction, the mission wasn't updated with that info. Lets just say that their scripting needs work, and/or the reactiveness of missions etc.

Yes, occasionally the tracker doesn’t update from “find XXX” to “Neutralise”, so if the tracker doesn’t change when you approach, boost through, turn around and try again.

Thankfully it's not as bad now as it was when 3.17 hit... but it's a far cry from 3.16 where you would get the neutralise marker when entering the gravity well of the moon/planet (which works SO much better for multiple players, as they can independantly navigate to targets then (as unless you own the quest, you don't get the last known position)

@@TheBaldrickk In this patch, Bounty hunting is ok, with the tracker update at 7km, though one in a while it does what happened to Oli. Hammerheads appear on the scanner at around 10km, Hurricanes at 7km. I’ve occasionally run into an indestructible HH that takes multiple torpedoes to kill.

I strongly recommend swapping out the Argos IX torps for Seeker IXs.

The restock bug has been around for years, CIG has a particular talent for keeping old bugs that are apparently ‘fixed’. You can try flying out of PO until you hear the ATC goodbye message, then flip around, land and restock. You could also try fitting the torpedoes in Fleet Manager in your Mobiglass.

Yep, refitting ship components is usually what I do if I don't want to wait for the claim time. Sometimes I'll just pull everything from the ship and then put it back in just to make sure.

side not hit "8" on your number pad once or twice to bias your shields to your front shield for the connie... your front shield will last much longer. 4 for left shield. 6 for right shield and 2 for rear sheilds... 5 to rebalance them all to 25%

That first shot was especially satisfying. With BH missions make sure the objective changes to "Neutralize" before getting the kill. There was a similar problem a few versions back where you had to sit and wait for quite a while before it would update.

The Eclipse is easily the best ship for npc bounty huntings, especially the final Eckhart bounty mission where you get to fight an Idris. It can single-handedly destroy an Idris in about 20 missiles (or 6-7 full salvos, depending on whether the Idris fire counter measures or not), and gives you a net profit of around 180k auec for a single mission.

EM's seeker torpedoes are the best for the eclipse, even players have a hard time to dodge them, also best range to be sure for impact is 1.5 to 2km, or you know, point blank x) !

I got 2x AD5B Gatlings + 2x CF-447 Rhinos on my Taurus. Haven't done a lot of fighting with it but when I do those AD5Bs tear through targets quick, when I properly align my target :P

The restocking bug is currently for all missiles, not just torpedoes, in my experience, it happens when you store the ship without restocking first, it doesn't happen if I always restock (on a PAD, because I get a bug when in a hangar that doesn't let me use the vehicle service tab) before storing the ship.

And don’t beat yourself up about having the most scenic or theatrical shots - you’re playing a space sim and as someone who wants to watch you playing a space sim, it’s great to have all these actual different environments! It’s so cool to see the failings and just being real in the game - it’s what makes it different from literally every other “shooter” game that is designed to all be cinematic and not simulated. One Thai g that would be awesome is more footage of you playing the game and doing stupid stuff with others, like Morphologis and Jackfrags - or even Kate (and Will). Keep it up man, you’re my favourite SC channel👍👍

You should have 2 size 5 cannons on the top of the conny and 2 gimbaled size 4 cannons on the bottom. Shoot from range and use the missiles and gimbals to take out the speedy fighters first.

Missile/torpedo restocking is so completely broken. Sometimes you can get around the bugs by manually equipping the missiles but it's sooo tedious and not guaranteed to work. Very frustrating...

Here Olli is struggeling to beat a single HH with 2-3 small escorts in his connie... and Chain 2 hh + 2 connies solo in mine all day long. Atmo does make it a lot harder though, admittedly. And server desync can F u up if your not carefull.

CIG hate lighting lol, there's too much lighting in the cutlass black cockpit and many ships have exterior lights that might as well be switched off when they are on lol. Can't see a thing. They like cinematic lighting as opposed to practical lighting lol.

This is my opinion on content creators that try branching out. I think most content creators subscribers are there for the person making the content, not necessarily what the content is for. Unless the channel's main focus is guides or walkthroughs, that may not work out so well. For me, nothing excites me more than seeing someone I'm subscribed too branching out into other games, especially if it's a game I have played or enjoy watching.

I could be wrong but it seems you get more missions in the asteroids more around Crusader. If you want more atmo battles go to Hurston. I heard the Phoenix has a smugglers space like the MSR, is that true and if so, where is it located?

I don't think the Phoenix has a smuggler space, but the Taurus has, if I recall correctly, a scan shielded rear storage instead of a snub fighter

Easy way to kill them with the size 9 torpedoes if get close to them and when they showed their top or bottom fire dumb fire one torpedo at them from third person view it's so satisfying and you usually kill them in one shot
