Kind of silly how slow even racing ships are in atmo. I think we will need control surfaces before they get tuned properly but I would expect to be going faster than a modern jet.

Long distance race tracks would be fun, but it's another prime example of vehicle devs and environmental devs never talking to each other, and the game is going to go to shits if they keep this up.

The ASOP is the ship terminal at starport and spaceports. I was just wondering if the Gladius that disappeared was a pledge or if it was purchased in-game.

I wonder if the Firebird and Peregrine will have some modularity down the line with that bay mounting. Would be interesting if we could put missiles on the peregrine and booster on the firebird.

Great footage. Forgive me I’m a bit behind it all but is this confirmed as a pure racing ship? If so, how is it different in terms of handling and speed compared to the Firebird aside from the obvious lack of weapons?

I'll leave it to the dedicated SC racing community to do an in-depth comparison between racers and their combat variants. The specs between the two ships will probably be out in a few days at the usual info sites (ie. Erkul).

Better acceleration in all axis than its sister ships and a slightly higher top speed means it handles a bit better and gets to speed much faster due to one of the highest forward boosted accels.

@@Noizemaze it seems like the Sabre Raven will hold a very desirable and credible niche as the high end data runner it was designed to be. Damn, you can’t get them anymore 😢 Funny though how the 135C out performs it in Roll and Yaw and only slightly lags in speed and that’s a small cargo ship 🤔

They just copied the Gladius audio. Till this moment I didn't believe but now I believe that the creators of this game are frauds. They just want money and in exchange they'll keep delivering a hollow promise, a scam.

Racing should have been something that wasn't worked on or added until after the initial 1.0 release. It boggles my mind how quickly and how often CIG gets side tracked from what are supposed to be their main goals.

They added more of it cause the community like it and if the devs responsible for this are waiting on other dev teams for other projects, why not? But this doesn't fit the tracks.
