Well I know I may be a needle in a haystack, but I have been having more fun with the Peregrine than any other ship. I spend maybe 60-70% of my game play low flying or ripping around in proximity. This Sabre is incredibly consistent at every speed. Makes it very fun flying in proximity. I love the little snubs, but the Peregrine just feels as close to perfect for me than any other small agile ship. Love the ship, but it’s not worth $170/$185 I don’t believe. $110 it’s a must buy to me.

I think it's more a collector's item and a low flying/aerobatics ship than a racing ship.

Not listing P-72 Archimedes for comparisons what is the fastest and very agile ship in game and a racer is surprising when comparing racers in general. Otherwise pretty good sum up on the Peregrine. But no just get the Archimedes ya can buy 3 of em and still cost less than Peregrine.

Cause in terms of pure speed, snubs like the Archimedes are a joke now without access to NAV mode. But for the tracks we got I think that doesn't matter.

I do wonder after the starting trend of racer ships not having any weapons (Fury LX and now the Sabre Peregrine), if the existing racer ships will lose their weapons. I'm not against it, I think it would make sense, and would mean MasterModes could still have 2 modes per ship, but instead of an SCM for racer ships they'd have a NAV and racer mode.

I like this for a complete different reason. I have no plans to race. I also have no plans to fight if an enemy comes sneaking behind me. What I want to do is speed away so no ship can catch me while roaming planetside.

For what you described as how you use the ship the Firebird variant would be better for those rare cases of Mantis snare traps. You can pop a Mantis with one middle volley and then speed off. I say this as someone who absolutely adores the Peregrine.

I like the perigrine, its a solid middle of the road pick for racing. its slower and doesn't accelerate nearly as quickly in atmosphere as the razor or m50. but it also handles pretty well in terms of general smoothness of flight in atmo. great ship for beginners or the rusty. also the Daymar Rally is a ground race, pretty sure you'd get disqualified if you brought it on race day over a rover.

considering the constant changes and speed limit I wouldn´t pledge for it but at least the concierge skin is nice and looks great on other Sabre variants :)

You should save your money until CIG show they can actually deliver Star Citizen. After 12 years we still have just 1 of the hundred system, no exploration, no passenger transport, terrible combat and a bug ridden mess of alpha.

NO ONE SHOULD BUY ANYTHING AT ALL NOT TILL THE GAME IS RELEASED! Why make a game when you make millions selling ships for a test verison of a game. Listen if you want to give money away please just give it to me, I have 1 dollar in the bank and I'm most likely going to spend it on food as to where these people are just going to put it in the bank with the rest of the 700million everyone has given them.

I am not buying anything but I got the ship! I just use my LTI token ships to upgrade and for that I use my store credits. I have not used real money for the last 3 years. LOL
