Am hoping for another Great Story telling game in Squadron 42- After The Witcher 3 has set the Bar so high in StoryTelling Narrative -have the highest hopes from S42 alone under command of Chris Roberts. Only two other games other than Witcher 3 - have come close close to reeling me into the characters - FreeLancer (thumbs up to the fantastic musical score) and Mass Effect 2 !

@@ShacknewsInterviews no, it is in "alpha"...early access implies it is in beta and/or has most of the core features done. The players are playtesters, whereas in early access you're not really much of a playtester

What game gets finished in 3 years? they take at least 5 when they already have a fully staffed studio and this is an MMO + SP. Going to be a few more years but things are coming along with quarterly updates.

Well, certain actors, such as Mark Hamil, have worked in Wing Commander have a personal stake in this. As for the others, I guess they just wanted familiar faces for the cast.
