They now sell the Argo 12SCU bags, but still can’t equip them in ship manager and we can’t physicalize them yet either to drop in space/hangar to equip them, so looks like this is still the only method to upgrade the bags on the Prospector

@@RobMutch not yet, hoping .1a enables it, also wondering if it’ll come when they update the ship management tab to include its option, plus other options.

Yes, but for now they are not physicallised yet. But soon you can equip them over mobiglas. Or you pull them out of the inventory in a hangar and mount them there. Or you do this what is suggested in the video.

dosnt work with the Maxlift. you can decouple the bags, but wont get the option to snap back on/mole bags on. Just a tip :D

It's cool that it works, but it's kinda messed up that you get 50% more cargo in the same volume. You would think the bags should contain the same amount of SCU per volume, that the Mole's bags are simply bigger and thus would not fit the Prospector. I'd love to have a "Prospector XL" with more bag hardpoints. Still single pilot, maybe no guns at all (they are useless anyway), slow AF but all that sweet cargo capacity. So the actual upgrade to grind for if you're into mining is a Mole (duh). But not to use it, but to buff your Prospector's capacity.

did the same thing but the bags disappeared. Only way to get them back was to find a prospector and replace them.

I am curious what happens to the Mole? Do its bags respawn? Will an in-game purchased mole work?

It’s works but how do you keep them from disappearing when you store the ship? When I went to do the component switch trick, the bags were gone.

Oh, if you watch the whole video you can see it. After you put them on, you go back to a station, store the ship, press f1 for mobiglas, go to ship choose the Prospector, then change off a modúl, é.g. QT drive, save. And then put the QT module back on and save. With this you made the bags permanent. Have fun mining!

Apparently you can also get mole bags off a verified salvage mission ? But you need to grind your salvage rep up a bit before you get an Argo Mole contract apparently?

Have you done the port unlock from the pilot seat? (lft alt +k) as described in the video?

@@Ittacor OK I tried and I couldn't do it as well, and I couldn't put them back the original on the Prospector or mole. But I tried in extra large hangar and haven't tried it yet In space and/or with shields off

Try those other too options too, I am back in RL right now, might take a while till I can test more. And check for IC's

I saw a guy pull out the prospector bags from the top ? He seemed to think it was easier ?

When you try to take the bags over to the mole? Are the bags empty? Otherwise it should work. Or your multitool is bugged Or I heard that some ppl couldn't do it with the MaxLift tractor and they needed to use the multitool.
