SC is starting to stink of the worst parts of life is feudal and ark. Massive spaghetti code that causes everything to break if a single thing is changed, lack of direction and progression, game breaking bugs and glitches, and a genre of game that targets a subset of a gaming community subset. The mmo/sim gaming crowd is small, and the crowd for those games in a hardcore full loot pvp version is even smaller. This game was DOA out the gate.

The drama queens with this game blow my mind. Every time somethign changes in a PTU biuild for the worst people jump up and down like crazy peoples, then CIG announce the change was not intended and within a couple of days its fixed. The same thign happened with the Inferno. The overheat issue happened in the PTU, everyone cried about them nerfing the Inferno, they came out almost imediately to say that the way it is performing was not intentional, and a day or two later it's now been fixed. It's the PTU. It's a test environment specifically intended for changes to be made and tested. People need to calm the F down and stop having a seizure every time something seems to change negatively in the PTU.

I don't think CiG will get this game up to their planned 1.0 vision. The game feels since forever like it's held together by spit and duct tape. It still makes your ship explode out of the blue caused by nothing but a slight server desync and you lose your 30 minutes setting up time invested plus all your items. This game strictly relies on cloning and reclaiming your ship and I don't ever see this changing. CiG made zero progress in 12 years to get this in order.

Most of us wanted 4.0 on the PU so we can finally have the wipe and start grinding & testing, this preview makes no sense i could just play it on the PTU if all i want is to see Pyro, i dont care if its buggy but right now there is no reason to play either of them because of the wipe.
