As you said that automatic restoration benefits can be availed only when you exhaust your sum insured, but generally automatic restoration can be availed in partial coverage also. Suppose you have a plan coverage of 10L and utilised 8L once the claim is triggered and settled person is eligible for another 10L in same year right?

My questions are about 7.5 lakh SI. 1. If my wife delivers a baby after 26 months from today, and it's c-section, then will I get only 40k? or will I get 40k + room rent and other charges upto SI? 2. If my SI gets doubled next year which is 15 lakhs, then will it stays on 15 lakhs? or on the 3rd year it will come back to 7.5 lakhs? 3. Is there any room capping? 4. Private single AC room is available. In case if I along with other members included in this policy gets hospitalized together, then will all of us get different private single AC room? and will the SI be 15 lakhs for each? or in total 15 lakhs?
