As per IRDA website data, there were 13,000 complaint against them with Bima Lokpal for last year ( 50% of total complaints !! ), any idea why so many complaints? Are they honorning claim as per policy? Very important factor to look before choosing insurance company

No. You should port your policy to star assure or comprehensive. Optima premium is on higher side. No point in opting deductible 1 lakh.

I have comprehensive policy from past 3years of 5lac is it coverage maternity, someone is saying there is a particular limit i.e for normal delivery 15k and for caesarean section 20k only covered in star comprehensive policy.what about other amount coverage provide me full details

10% of sum assured is for organ donor and not for the recepient in family optima plan, pls. correct

I have comprehensive police of 5 lakh base sum insured for me and my wife this year will be my 3rd renewal age is 32., Renewal ke time par it is showing me options to increase basic sum insured now I want to increase my base sum to 10 lakh. If I do so what will be changes in my policyl? like waiting periods, changes in claim free year bonus?

Hi, you should opt for 10 lakh sum insured. However there will be no difference in waiting period and claim free year bonus.
