I did some research on the "exploration" part. You have to grind to a Tier 4 ship in order to unlock the right to explore. Knowing War Thunder from Gaijin is focused far too much on grinding (it took me a year to get a basic jet), how bad is the grind?

Not entirely as bad as you might think. Compared to War Thunder, this is slightly easier if not easier as is once was. I've been playing this game year+ and things have been getting easier to grind. You still get bonuses and stuff. Including PVE missions. However, you need to be a Rank 10 to fly everywhere else. But, reaching to rank 10 isn't so bad. Since the more you do PvP and PvE you unlock new game modes to your current rank and new missions. And the new mode also can be perfect for grinding experience for the ships.

Took me 2 days to get rank 4 and 4 to get from rank 4 to 7, so it's not that bad

They basically killed whole game. The exploration was meh at the first place, but the rest was really good. Now everything is meh, cuz of taikins and siriuses... I really hope that some day in a future there will be a game like this, but not so fckd up...

No it isn't, it's like war thunder, you can get every regular equipment for free, paying just makes you get the equipment faster, but it isn't better... Star Trek Online became P2W
