a side tip that i found helpful to keep the spikes point is go through the spikes again but avoid the bead on the point, it forces that bead to poke out a bit more and gives more stability to the spikes!

@@henry_star1969 awe thank you!! It was a bigger star and I found a video but it took awhile to understand bc it wasnt really a kandi video and they had really small beads... (bead weaving stuff-) I cant use tiktok either bc my parents wont let me :( if you wanna make it then I can give you the link or the name for it!! :D (srry for a late reply btw)

Since I made the x cuff before clicking on this tutorial im currently using sharpie to mark the points that wouldve been my anchors 😅😅hopefully this turns out ok.. its my first time making a 2 x cuff (usually I do 1 x) and my second time making a 3d cuff (made the carousel before this) wish me luck!!!!!!

Any tips on how to make it sturdier? I know for the points you recommended the cut up straws but what about cuffs in general? I feel like no matter what I do I have a problem with the beads being really loose on the string and messing up the design :(

Hello, I know this video is pretty old so you probably won't see my comment but I followed everything correctly besides doing 30 beads because that would be too big. I did 24 beads instead to fit my wrist and even though you said that"as long as it's an even number" I still can only do 4 points I was just wondering is 24 to small for 5 points or do I need to do a different method? Also would 26 be good for 5 points because I can't make it any bigger or it won't fit my wrist. :,)

I haven’t watched this tutorial get(saving it for when I get home in an hour) but I think it may need to be 25! I know that’s not an even number but it IS an even split of 5 (5X5) which is how many points there are in a star? May be tight because you won’t have the bead between points but you could try that!

they* never said it was beginner friendly i’m intermediate and this was perfect, most beginners start with making a shit ton of x bases and getting that down, that’s what i did and now here i am
