At some point in MK8 Wii U, I rear-viewed while gliding out of that section and was positively stunned by the view. Been telling people to do the same every time it's come up, and very glad more are getting to see it thanks to this video!

I honestly hope Reverse mode replaced Mirror mode in future games, Tour and this proves it's way more interesting. One thing I'd improve is the entrance to the dam in Mount Wario, to better corral players into the entrance, as well as overhaul the cave so it's not just blind flying. Maybe just full on use the metal bridges

The Mount Wario one made me realize to potential of a mountain climbing instead of descending track There is a lot of the latter but none where you go up instead

I think there's a lot of the latter bc the Mario Kart camera gives better sightlines on a downwards sloped track. The camera is tilted downwards at the player, and that angle also is better for viewing a downwards slope. I think an upwards slope is an awesome idea, emotionally, but I think this viewing angle dynamic explains why Nintendo often puts in canons to skip the ascent

Mount Wario R has to be my favorite out of this cup, climbing the mountain and gliding into the airplane is such a brilliant idea for this track and we got to even see some areas you'd never get to appreciate either on the vanilla track, hope one day this becomes a feature in the next Mario Kart!

Mount Wario gave me an idea. What if next game they have a Freezeflame Galaxy themed level where you’re racing from planet to planet with warp star jumps being gliders and you’re running away from explosions that are engulfing the planets in lava so it’s this giant uphill race around unique environments as everyone tries to run away from certain death

In my imagination Donkey Kong challenges you to race him in this cup. If you win, he'll say "Congratulations, player! Excellent work on your perseverance! Okay, I lost."
