This would closely align with one of the canon books where Imperial ships had returned to shipyard damaged fighting Separatists Holdout ships. I think it was one of the Thrawn books. I would love to see the Subjugator Class heavy cruiser go up against a Star Destroyer.

I assume this is the providence cruiser not dreadnaught. The dreadnaught variant like invincible would beat multiple isds with its fighter compliment, thermal shielding, and quad heavy turbolasers

The result was to be expected The only True Dreadnaught is Admiral trenches ship that was twice the length of a regular Providence

It really isn't. Providence was more of a cruiser/carrier hybrid like the Venator whereas the Lucrehulks filled the battleship role. Admiral Trench's dreadnaught varient was unique to itself.
