The voice acting for the Venom commanders was so good. Camien's increasing panic as you got closer to the end of the level was fantastic.

This level was beyond intense. It was like all of your hard work for going through the most difficult stages was coming to a head, and you had to muster up all you had left in you to absolutely decimate all of the best of what andross’s forces had to offer. And you felt nothing but pride to put them under. Seeing the toughest of the bad guys panic as you pummeled through them was all the more satisfying. And finally, knowing that they were destroyed upon your efforts and no longer standing in your way to face Andross made you feel like you were the king of lylat. All of this, because Fox was determined to avenge his father’s murder made this just that much more passionate.

I like Falco's quotes in Area 6, and they are: "Bogeys behind me! Am I getting so slow?", "Let's clean up this mess!", "Time for a little payback!", "Hold still and let me shoot you!", "I guess you should be thankful." "Aaaahhhh!" (If Peppy and Slippy are not present in Area 6), "Careful Slippy, it could be dangerous to venture out in space.", Crud! We're so close to Venom!", "YEAH! It's working!", and "Watch out, Fox!" At the beginning of this level, Area 6, Falco quoted, "Too late pal! Game over!"

Nothing makes you feel like a badass quite like barrel rolling past a massive volley of laser fire and retaliating by firing your own blasts right back at the enemy and taking out a Zeram-class cruiser. This level is perfection.

Always get choked up listening to this given the stage’s premise, as Fox and his wingmen are so close to their goal of putting a stop to Andross’ evil plans, yet the remaining Venomian forces are being scrambled in a desperate attempt to prevent the team from making it to the planet’s surface. Thus the music has a certain emotional quality to it as Fox and company has to muster up the strength needed to punch on through the Venomian forces and finish the fight once and for all.

Technically, Area 6 isn't an "Air Defense Zone"; the proper term for it would be an Orbital Defense Zone or an Aerospace Defense Zone, as it clearly it taking place above the planet Venom's exosphere, which is the limit of its actual atmosphere (where air would be). (To be "Air Defense", you have to be defending from an attacker within the atmosphere, what the air prefix indicates).

I really love this theme. It really gives you the feeling that you're breaching the enemy where it's going to hurt them the most and they're starting to panic. It's sort of lighter parts gives it a victorious sensation along with the heavier and more intense parts to remind you that it isn't over yet.

This level goes so hard. The music, the shot of Venom getting closer and closer, the high octane action, the clips of Andross’s forces freaking out over Star Fox completely decimating them. It also always feels good to know that once you reach this level you officially are set on the track to get the good ending and there’s nothing that can happen that can deter you from that track. Edit: I just realized, there’s nothing that can deter you from going to the route for the bad ending. Obviously you can still get a game over and not get the good ending.

This song best describes the pure strength of what you have been able to do. On the easy routes, it was all about counterattacking Andross's forces to try and reach and defeat him. But when you're here, you have not only counterattacked Andross, you're sending them in a run as you are now on the offence, breaching through their defences now!
