I love all your videos but there's something about these older videos that hit different

I like the simple polygons. They may be basic but, in this time of infinite palettes and resolutions, I find them refreshing. If the game was re-released with a smooth frame rate and a brightened up soundtrack (to me the SNES sound feels like someone's put their finger through my speaker cone...) I would be all over it. :)

What amazing timing!Your StarFox review showed up right when I was about to go play some StarFox Snes!

Nice! Glad someone is giving this game some attention. Even if the graphics are textureless, I do feel that there is some charming style to it from the flashing orange weakpoints to the blue and yellow lasers. I do agree about the frame rate, though. But oddly, even that didn't hinder my experience much and is still one of my all time favorite SNES games. Good review, dude!

This was one of the games we got with the snes back in the day, I still occasionally like to play it, and I find it holds up well enough to be playable. You eventually get the feel for the lack of a targeting cursor.

I feel I should state that I didn't grow up with Star Fox. But yes! I agree completely about always reading Corneria(spelling?) as "corn-arrhea."

TGX : You have an odd sense of humor, you go off on weird tangents and sometimes for a bit on the long side, and I think you might be lacking in some social skills....... I'm totally subscribing. About the review : this game sold me a Super Nintendo because for its time, it really was cutting edge stuff. It looked amazing to me. At the time, I had a part time job and no real financial responsibilities so naturally I invested in my future by buying a SNES. I don't think your evaluation was unfair at all though. It was as good as it was going to get at the time but playing it now, I can see that a lot of the difficulty was simply down to that horrendous frame rate. I still play it from time to time but it's just slightly painful as I've become accustomed to modern games with MUCH smoother gameplay. Anyway, like I said, totally subscribing! :)

15:57 If you don’t mind, what’s the dog playing in the background while your explaining the theory? Also it’s been a couple months since I’ve seen this video and it’s still well done and I still very much enjoy it.

"the Super Nintendo really doesn't get enough credit for its sound quality" Yeah, it get's far more than enough. As awful as its sound is by today's standards, people on the internet still act as though it not only still holds up but sounds BETTER than modern MIDI.

That theory is dumb because the Great Fox was called the Mothership and you see it
