What Akali means here is that by dying, Rakan left Xayah alone and in severe depression and guilt. Akali was there when Rakan sacrificed his life and she saw how much Xayah broke from losing her lover. So SG Akali's whole thing is that, instead of sacrifice, you should survive for your loved ones so they don't have to pick up the pieces. Realistically tho, that was hard to do in Rakan's case cuz Xayah was dying from corruption.

The lore says that you need two SG's to fight a single corrupted at least, Akali was being corrupted but stops it, and in turn is now strong enough to 1v1 the corrupted cause she can tap into the same power they do. That said, as she says herself, corrupted fall to doubt, and she doesn't have the usual mask of sunshine and rainbows that the rest of the SG's have that helps prevent that from happening, AND it appears that her team is sorta ostracizing her because of the partial corruption and her not being 100% on board with the whole thing anymore without the mask, so that probably isn't helping her mental much.

From the lore bits it seemed after the confrontation with Zoe in Valoran City, Lux's team is searching for Zoe bc they aren't wholly convinced that they defeated her. The battle in the city exposed Star Guardians to the world and I think it's supposed to be in memory of Star Guardians saving everyone. I think Ahri's team is on the same boat, but also searching for Rakan.

@@EpidemicPain Sadly, that’s likely the studio’s fault. She got renowned for both Tiny Tina and Chloe, with Aloy that just cements her reputation for those voices. It’s clear from her work that she has good range (Quacho Queen, Tiny Tina, Orendi, Bun Bun) but studios want her default voice the most because it’s recognizably her. Same thing happened with Nolan North. Amazing voice actor asked to do his regular default voice for most of his work despite having amazing range. Though, I do believe that doesn’t diminish their work. Ashly and Nolan are absolutely legendary voice actors and amazing at what they do regardless of the direction that they’re given. Sometimes studios would rather say hey we got Ashly Burch, Nolan North, Troy Baker rather than give them a role that tests their range as voice actors. =/

She might have been petrified to stone but i don't think that actually happened tho. Since the statue was actually in the middle of the city paying tribute to Lux's spark. However, Akali might've meant to say that...maybe lux went too far...and to save everyone she sacrificed herself? Probably trapped somewhere by the Star Nemesis, Whereas everyone considered her to be dead? And that is why she doesnt want Kai'Sa to have the same fate as Lux? Pushing too far that kills her? Note: The last update we know about lux is that she was trying to find rakan. Maybe she actually found him but fell in Zoe/Morgana's trap? And if you remember... Zoe's powers did turn Gwen into a doll. So lux actually tried to finish off zoe but got turned into a stone?

And since Gwen was turned into a doll by Zoe, we could expect something similar to happen to Lux. Akali's "You finally came down from your pedestal" dialogue would make sense if Lux had a part in the story, but she doesn't, at least for now.

Personally I would like Lux to be not dead as such, but turned into a statue, in a kind of stasis, until the danger happens again and the city needs her again. It would fit with Akali's dialogue, referring to Lux having the power to do something, but her not doing anything because she stayed in stasis as a statue.

Soraka, jinx and lulu saved Gwen Poppy and ezreal are missing (I'm guessing they're finding rakan). Lux fought zoe and perhaps something terrible happened to her? Kai'Sa, Sona, nilah, ekko, quinn, taliyah and rell are finding Akali. Morgana and Fiddlesticks are targetting Akali.
