Of course every bug should get fixed, but riot is simply not capable of doing that, so they need to prioritize the more important bugs over the minor bugs

Personally the thing that frustrates me the most about yone is that cc doesnt stop anything he does, you can stun him durring the cast time of his ult but it still goes off, you cant stun him out of 3rd q, and you cant stun him out of his e, so it just feels like he doesnt have any counterplay unless you just statcheck him to death.

thats a lot of champs tho, its not like the cc simply doesnt work, its that he can buffer them, meaning he needs to activate in a very specific timing for him to cancel the cc. the only unstoppable thing about him is his e recast, which has to be buffered. he cant recast if he already got hit by cc

@@xarao Sure, but my point is that only one of them is under scrutiny, while the other is actively supported by riot. Also, I don't think a character created in season 3 is as 200 years as the peak example of that meme. They're not even remotely close in toxicity. Zed is clearly counterable, Yone's not, Zed has difficulty dealing with tanks, yone usually doesn't, Zed has almost no magic damage, yone has split scaling. Also, yone has no resource bar, big and forgivable AoE and a lot of cc. Zed needs to deal with his crap energy, his q have small hitbox and his only cc is a slow.

As a top main, i never have problem with yone, you can easily fight him with most if not all bruiser champs, you can wait at his e to rekt him after he used it, his ult is a good escape but you can block it. I would rather face a fed yone than a zed that can jump every 5 second. (I HATE EZREAL WITH BURNING PASSION)

you missed that he was created so Yasou player have someone to pick when Yasou is banned, which means there is next to 0 cost for spamming his abilities. He has a zero risk engage with his E so the second he feels threatened he teleports back so there's no counterplay to him engaging you. Also his ulti is a blink and buggy so you can't counter it with cc

The one and only thing I hate about Yone and think is truly unfair is that, no matter how much you try to shut him down in early game, if he gets 2 items, he will carry, rendering all your early efforts completely useless. No other champion has that amount of low effort/investment to high reward/carry/comeback potential

I think this is true but also saying other champs don't have this is not really that accurate. I can think of several others like Urgot, Sion, and a few others (typically split pushers) because they just have so much pressure with their tower damage while taking all of the other team's attention away from the more important things or else they'll literally just end the game.

Yasuo has to get a knock up first, then he can ult and gain access to 50% armor pen for a short duration, Yone's bitch ass permanently has 50% armor pen from split damage, but then ALSO get's zeds ult as TRUE damage, which works AOE as another basic ability. "we do not think our newer champion kits are more overloaded overall"

the biggest issue will always be that he never has to commit to a fight if he doesn't want to. his spirit form means he literally never has to fully commit to a fight. if the player id playing him right, he can always just return to his positions giving him an insane amount of mobility in the middle of a skrimish. so you have to respect his engage while he also can simple opt out of the fight if it doesn't go his way. and then if it's real dicey he can dash and ult away.

Playing yone well can be difficult, because of how his kit works. The problem is that, as someone who plays yone, I can jump on a garen, miss q, auto, w, miss q, chase him under tower, take a tower shot, miss an auto, e back to my body, and he'll be down from 100 to 60%, and I'll have 80% hp left from starting at 82%.

I have been waiting years for this! This takedown will be legendary! One of my happiest memories in League was a few years back, when I was playing draft top, someone asked to swap and a lot of bungled communication later, the both of us had picked support, so I ended up going Leona Top with support runes. Into the man himself, Yone. Everyone on the team was in rather good humour about it, but... I ended up not losing lane all that hard. A couple of overconfident towerdives left me 2/3/0 and Yone 3/2/0 at the end of laning phase and come teamfights, I absolutely clobbered him with my team at my back. We ended up stomping that game.

Everytime i called a champion my main they got gutted eventually, or outright deleted (R.I.P Aatrox) but you have the 2 windshitters getting double crit for free, and a clear preferential treatment from rito. I'm seriously so sick of this company not respecting the players in so many ways, they make the game less fun to manipulate you into grinding or getting that last win of the day every day. And games only last 15-20 minutes because one of the team always dominates the other the entire game. We gotta start respecting ourselves and ask for better or stop playing.

Quite a few ways to fix him. -We could remove half the passives on his abilities. -Reduce his range on all his abilities and autos by half. -Make it so the magic damage auto doesn't allow lifesteal from items only omnivamp. -remove his multiplied crit chance. -change his damage multiplier from his ghost become either physical or magical damage instead of true damage or make it deal more damage the further he travels to get back to his original location so if he fights a tank right next to his dash position it deals little to no damage. -give him mana bar or even energy. -give his cds an additional 10 seconds for those dash abilities. -Make it so immobilizes either sent him back from his dash or he must remain until the cc wears out. -Make his ult interruptable(no reason to be cc immune for that).

He already gets stuck in E if you cc him when it’s about to end. It just snaps him back when the cc is over.

an interesting fix for him is to turn him to an AP champion. one of his main problems is he can miss all abilities and be able to kill you just by using autoattacks. by turning him to a caster, missing abilities is actually punishing. his basic attacks could then scale with AP so that he's a pure magic dealer, giving him counterplay as the current one is impossible to build resist against(hybrid max health damage. yea good luck with that)

He's an assassin-fighter-hypercarry, stat checker, dangerous at all stages of the game, has a mixed damaged profile, does percent health, can one shot in a single rotation, but if he misses everything he still kills you in three autos, has a cleanse, is manaless, can zone AAers with a 700 range shotgun, can chase you Tower to Tower, and after 2 to-3 damaged items he builds full tank and is unkillable. All this is okay because hes Ionian. Ionians get affirmative action and are protected in League of Legends.

the thing is since he has TWO abilities that scale with attack speed (both castime and cooldown) it makes him spike so hard at just the smallest amount of gold since attack speed also doubles up as ability haste for him (with just around 60-70 percent AS his q gets lowered to 1.3 seconds and his W cd GETS LOWERED TO LESS THAN HALF) like people complain about camille passive being oppressive in short trades but that shit Has 10 seconds cd at level 16 and only blocks on type of damage while yone gets a n all purpose shield with a poke ability and mixed max health damage

@@ethanstyant9704 except that his Q is counted as an autoattack for the first enemy hit, then everything beyond the first is counted as an ability, that's why when you Q somebody lifesteal is only applied to the first enemy struck, same as Yasuo Q. Been this way since Yas came out, and Yone Q is (apart from the movement) the exact same coding wise as Yasuo Q. So by buying Tabis you instantly block 11% of his Q damage just from the passive, and on top of that you have the armor from tabis to block damage as well.

I think also a contributing factor is his popularity. You see Yone all the time. And thats because despite the high skill sealing, he had at least before the removal of lethal tempo a low skill floor. Even if he misses all of his skillshots, he can still autoattack you to death, and because of his scaling, even if you manage to bully him in lane, his e and his scaling give him safety nets that help even the bad players to still contribute something. He is a bit like ezreal in that regard, in that he can be played relatively safe despite his melee nature. He might still fluctuate in his pressure, but he doesn't outright feed so hard that it feels frustrating for the player who plays him. The reason why Ezreal isn't as hated is that he at least is still a adc and somewhat easy to explode, he has just more range and also cannot hypercarry that hard. A extremely frustrating champ that you see all the time just reinforces the hatred.

In my humble opinion, Yone is fun to play but he does have weaknesses as well like other champions in the game. In my own experience, he's really weak early against bruisers/tanks. If enemies are good at having visions on the map, Yone's hard to do surprise attacks combo which works really well with him, go in and kill then go back with e. Meanwhile if you're seen, enemies can tell just by looking at your 3rd q animation, smart people would draw a bit of distance to punish him if he does dash. Overall I think it's more of predicting what yone does which is easy and dodge, or if you can trade blows with him.

i agree, you have to land your Q's to actually have pressure in lane and be able to kill. unlike alot of champs which are less reliant on landing point and click abilities like renekton w, people tend to forget his e is long cooldown as well 22 seconds, alot of items he used to build got nerfed hard kraken, dagger got nerfed, his crit chance got nerfed, lethal tempo got removed. you are forced to snowball in lane because going even means your losing now. alot of champions will just outscale you and even if you snowball with all the nerfs ive talked his not as good right now any good player can tell, his w got nerfed multiple times also before (for a good reason imo). people will always find ways to hate on a champion though which is understandable if they can't deal against him he had his times where he was really good (back when shieldbow was very good and he didnt have his w nerfs). thats why you shouldn't really listen to everything you hearso yeah i agree with most things you said at the end of the day every champion has a weakness.

His magic damage is ON HIT meaning if you slow his attack speed he does less magic damage it really is that simple. Tabis reduces Auto damage MEANING it also reduces his magic damage from passive. you are right, especially now that tabi is just 1000 gold. and all his spikes got nerfed and lethal tempo got removed and that he needs to land abilities unlike alot of champions in top where your allowed to point and click and that his e is 22 second cooldown. you are forced to snowball in lane otherwise you don't do anything the whole game going even is losing and even if you snowball you get outscaled by most champions. yone had his moments where he was broken but people often hate without understanding.

Yone was only OP when lethal tempo was OP. you can ask any good yone players, dzukill, tempest etc. In no way i can respect what you said when in live in the reality where he is on a legit 46% wr and lower in some ranks because tempo has been removed. RIOT just needs to fire the boosted balance team members that main Yone. That'd fix him in one patch, possibly sooner. It's not OK for a champion to be able to engage on you only on their terms from so absurdly far away, getting out reliably even if you land cc against them. The only way to beat that without counter-picking is to be nearly immune to damage, so that it does him no good to go in against you and fight... but even that doesn't actually counter him, as he will still ninja in/out to kill your four teammates while you you sit on items that make you do no damage whatsoever to his team. The number of champions that pick well into Yone is by far the smallest in the game for any champion. It's stupid.

the last time I was able to somewhat deal with yone was to have a jax 4-0 him in lane and headbut (with Alistar) him out of the way of ult. Otherwise, gotta pray your frontline chunks him enough so he can't all in and have all the vision - even then his auto damage is enough to shred an adc before he goes down. uncommon opinion but in a disjointed team, its actually easier to deal with yone than master yi as he can't really go untargetable or run really far without ult
