Star played her card very well announcing her departure from the show, and outsmarted the sneaky Barbara. Star should not have come back has a guest. She should have known Barbara was waiting to confront her about outsmarting her when Star mentioned she was leaving the show. Where does Barbara get off confronting Star about keeping her weight loss surgery private.

I love Star Jones and I am so glad to see this clip of her return to "The View." I am glad that Ms. Walters and the others welcomed her back. It was important for them to have addressed any past misunderstandings or misconceptions for their own sakes as well as the public's sake (because there are so many fans who still love and admire Ms. Star Jones! So now we can move forward in a positive direction. May God bless you in all your endeavors, my fellow Jones sister.

I cant stand Star Jones. To sit there and try and justify everything that happened and basically totally discount how she made all of her co-hosts cover up everything for her was disgusting. She could've cared less how her own actions affected everyone else on the show. A very selfish, self-righteous, self centered woman! Lies on the air about how she lost all the weight and makes everyone else go along with the lies and to top it off totally disrespects Barbara Walters, the PRODUCER of the show and frankly, her BOSS by not agreeing to go out with dignity the way they wanted her to simply because she didn't get her way. It had to be Star's way or the highway all the time. And she sits there like SHE is the victim. Cant stand the woman!

Why does anyone think they're entitled to Star's medical business? Just because weight loss is something people can see doesn't mean they deserve to have their questions answered. If you have an operation, does the world have a right to know? Star had an operation to save her life. All her co-workers had to say is that they won't discuss Star's business. How hard is that to do? Regarding how she left, people on the show were leaking stories to press about her and Rosie O'Donnell confirmed to Star that Barbara and Joy had told some of her private business to her. Star did not have to continue to put up with that type of hostile work environment. She knew for months she wasn't being renewed but showed up and did her job until the day she left.

Its one thing to get surgery to save your life because your a fat fuck, but to lie on T.V saying you "dieted it off/ worked it off through exercise"on your talk show all about fashion and sex appeal is Wrong. She not an honest person and only came out about it to her "fans" because someone let out the beans.
