Can’t tell you how much I loved watching this ❤ brought a tear to my eye 😢 such fabulous memories! And my hat is off to you Dusty cos there’s no way I could do the Star Lodge … I was watching from my bed and it made me want to lay on the floor to be safe near the ground! You definitely Rule Your Own World 🌎 So happy to see your llama … we are llama tattoo Peru buddies 👍❤️

Thanks so much Lisha. You’re the real legend here. Don’t know if I would’ve had the courage to get tattooed if it weren’t for you, Matt, and Marissa.

Ahhhh, thanks for watching dude. It’s really nice to hear from you. Hope you’re still having fun wherever you are these days. Goodbyes suck, so don’t stress yourself over it. Best wishes. Kendra

So glad that you two got to do this. It was bittersweet that we had to bail, but a broken ankle will do that! At least we got to experience it through you all!
@kendrasdustyroad2 жыл бұрын
Haha. Ya, felt a little silly posting the video. “Look at this fun experience we got to have because our friend broke her ankle!” I’m just glad you’re doing better and have been able to explore Europe. Next time we travel together, we’ll do something epic, on us. Just keep Hayden away from all obstructions in the street the morning of.

@@kendrasdustyroad hahah yeah we have a little PTSD with all of the cobblestone streets out here. Our paths will cross again one day!

Thank you for the video! Is it possible to charge phones/camera there?

Thanks for watching! We probably should've included that in our room tour. If I remember correctly, I think they do as I don't recall any issue not getting our electronics charged. But it's been long enough that I don't recall for sure.

I see that you are wearing a Dexcom. Do you have Type 1 or Type 2 Diabetes. I am worried about my insulin pump not working above 10,000 feet.
@kendrasdustyroad Жыл бұрын
Hi there. Good eye. Yep, Im type 1. I use an Omnipod and I didn't have any problems. I spent about 2 weeks in Huaraz which sits at about 10,000 feet and went on several hikes, one to 15,000 feet. Definitely consult your doctor, but if you're worried, you could always pack some syringes and a slow acting insulin as a backup.
