I don't even bother with making the berries into pulp, simply carry a stack of berries, when you eat one, it adds 2 to your water and 1 to food replenishment, so eating a dozen or so every now and then keeps me topped up, without making me cold. A stack of 100 only weighs 2 lbs. Also, only food i tend to bring along is honey. Honey needs to be replenished back at base, but berries can be found nearly any where, making replenishment easy.

@13:30 I decided to kill time while waiting for the meteor shower by building a massive castle base just south of the Frost Temple Obelisk and that took so long that by the time I finished the castle I had more starmetal than I would ever need but I noticed that while it was great having starmetal landing at my doorstep the occasional hits to my castle weren't really that bad. No walls ever crumbled. I usually just had to run around with the repair hammer and restore everything that took damage back to full health after the hit and only once did one meteor actually punch a hole right through my castle's outer wall and even then I only had to replace one foundation and then use the repair hammer on all the neighboring pieces that took splash damage.

I never had luck building in the areas of meteor showers! Destroy my build! 😂

Fun fact, the harvest resources spell bypasses the need for explosives. It just harvests the star metal without needing to break the shell

Nice video. But you don't need to combine two orbs. I use the demon fire orb alone and it works very easy.

i'll try this after work. reached lvl 60, built an entire castle + city, beat lots of bosses / done lots of dungeons but still haven't managed to get black ice for the fridge 😅

Just remember that now you need at least a hardened steel pick or black blood pick to harvest star metal. Congrats on getting that far without a fridge! 🥰

You can get the glands from scorpions easily, at least a couple with each scorpion

Yes, he does if you are going after star metal and black ice. There are no seasons in Conan just areas of snow where it is colder and you need the protection. Here is a link to the video I did on cold weather armor for beginners. Take note though, it will not protect you from the bridge or the frost temple, but you can get the black ice and star metal with it. Have fun!

You mentioned you're on ps4, I just got the game a couple weeks ago and the enemies are invisible some times which makes it hard to judge an area's safety fir gathering materials. Am I alone in this problem or is there a solution? Thanks for te great content btw!

From what I have heard all consoles are having this problem with 3.0. I am glad I am doing my 3.0 play though on a PC. Hopefully they will get it fixed soon.

Have not tried them yet but if you are playing on a console there seems to be a few bugs and that could be one of them.

I got that too, on PC. What I found that works is equipping different arrows and switching to the blunted arrows from inventory.

Thanks Thomas and I have also learned that you only need the fire orb to crack one open now, which never used to be the case. I still think explosive arrows are the way to go! No missing with those LOL

You can just get star metal from dismantling legendary weapons
