I'd like to propose a new idea for the series. It would be nice to show us what you side between the rounds and your reasoning for siding that specific card. We'd know what potential outs you have to the strategy the other one is bringing. i mostly forget what was in the side deck as soon as the duel starts. would be very short, cool and something new.

I think you're already planning on doing that anyway but PLEASE open the mega tins from now on, the mega packs give an amazing chance to both of you to find the cards you've missed to build some more extravagant decks like madolche etc, and especially further down the line with them including deck builder packs it would allow you to build high rarity strategies as well, so consider that!

A few weeks ago Cimo actually implied that they wouldn't be. The problem was when he said that they weren't doing tins I don't think he realized that tins were just reprints of other sets and not their own set until the next one. They should definitely do the 2014 tins on since they are their own separate set and provides them with an opportunity to pick up the good stuff they missed. Hopefully he was only talking about the past ones and not implying the future ones but they've made some really weird decisions not to do thus far.

This was an amazing episode. I love that both of them went for burn and thought the other would not expect it and be surprised. Cimo realizing and having to reconfigure how he was thinking about the matchup. And the chain link battles going down to the wire, who activates the last card, who dies first. This was going to be an horrible match on paper but it was awesome in practice!

Doesn't Reckless Greed cause the draw phase to be skipped during the last turn of game 1? Which would mean the turn goes straight to standby, and Lava Golem starts the chain?

he probably didn't know he could choose to activate golem first and not just pass priority, lava golem activates during the standby, but not necessarily the START of the standby either way it still turns into a game of chicken, does he chain strike to get the damage in ASAP and pray for next turn and risk a chain link 3? or does he hold it in expecting a response?

You say that like they don't do random meme formats if nothing else. Also, all they need to do is slap an "if you have no special summoned monsters" clause on it to release it. It's really only a problem because you can use it after you set up. Allowing you to gain cards to break your opponent's board/interrupt their plays or to use it as a comeback mechanic is perfectly acceptable and only someone who doesn't want their opponent to play would disagree.
