@@bigwingedkuriboh I mean, it's mentioned in Part 3 and 6 too, Whitesnake and Johngali A knew about his powers and that he was invincible, even though they never met him before, in Part 3 DIO do have some mercenaries on his team and they are probably world renowned (like Hol Horse, Arabia Fats, Alessi, Yellow Temperance, etc) meaning probably not just Jotaro but every crusader is famous, Jotaro is simoly more famous because he killed DIO and we know damn well DIO was the biggest super star ever. But I would love an spin off about this underworld of stand users

@@zannchristo I haven’t started part 6 yet so I can’t really comment on anything, but in part 3 the ones that were known were usually the assassin ones who did things that were impossible to do otherwise and even then only by Avdol who was always an exception in his expertise on stand users following the tarot cards, as soon as they got to Egypt it was an entirely different world as the 9 gods of Egypt weren’t part of the system Avdol knew despite operating in the country he lived his entire life in. Stand users are typically hush hush about their abilities too when their not actively gaining anything from them for a living, but people already knew Jotaro could stop time in part 4 for no reason. That’s something that no one could put together especially because Jotaro only ever stopped time when fighting Dio until he got to Morioh and met Josuke. Dio as an entity is kinda strange too, I don’t really know why he’d be known apart from people who have actively been effected by him, maybe it’s something they explain in part 6, but if you weren’t being paid by him you were under the control of a flesh bud and ended up like Okuyasu’s dad unable to tell anyone what happened anyway. Keicho is probably the person most invested in knowing who Dio is in all of part 4, but he only knew whispers of the name and some vague connection to Enyaba. Keicho was the guy making a stand community in Morioh in the first place, but he didn’t seem to have a global knowledge of it otherwise he would have probably sought out an existing stand user that could kill his dad instead of making so many new ones. Hazamada is such a strange exception because he just knows about stands more than probably anyone else throughout the part despite only having been shot by the arrow recently, he knew about Jotaro and was the first to say that stand users are attracted to one another, it’s 1999 so I’m not sure how he could have possibly worked out so much, it’s not the most reasonable idea that he searched for stand user communities on the internet or something, you know? But it’s still strange to me that word was able to spread, especially about some guys who were only active for 50 days in the 80’s and had most of their enemies unable to speak after the fact.

@@bigwingedkuriboh fair, but still, we have no idea how famous in the "underground" the mercenaries of DIO were, and some people did know about DIO's power (the D'arby brothers, the "vampire" DIO created, Enya, probably her son too since they were really close) and they could just run their mouth about the crusades, especially since they have no idea if the crusaders are going to stop after defeating DIO, for all they know, they could just want to take over the throne of the underground of Stand Users, become legends, who knows? All they know is that these 5 dudes showed up out of nowhere and literally wiped clean basically an army of Stand users. Also, DIO did travel the world searching for knowledge of stands and for strong allies, we know that in Part 3 and in Part 6 it's way more detailed, so obviously a vampire with a super OP af Stand that only talks in third person would be easily recognizable, after all, who would dare mess with him? Keicho did investigate and was building a stand community but he obviously can't go travel around like DIO. Why? HE'S BROKE, LOOK AT HIS HOUSE, THE FACT THAT HE WENT OUTSIDE OF MORIOH FOR ANGELO IS AN EXCEPTION (since he thought of all people, Angelo could kill his dad and because he was in Japan, it could be that expansive.) Hazamada could just search it on the internet, he's literally an incel, it's likely that he doesn't do anything besides reading manga and using the internet all day aaaaand, remember: this world's technology is not the same as ours, they had n4zi robots in the 40's, video games that you could drawn your own avatar in the 80's, rich people can literally just buy a submarine, in part 5, the internet is super fast and you could go a bunch of crazy stuff on a simple notebook (and Part 5 is only 2 years after Part 4), explosive wristbands in 2011, etc, etc. Anyway, I'm sad that we don't get more background on that but since after P6 is a totally different universe, we'll never get it, but still, the Stand User world does exist, and Jotaro is famous (well, for killing DIO and for searching for the arrows, he probably beat up way more people in those 10 years between Part 3 and 4, we just don't know about it)
