We are in Cabo San Lucas Mexico today, and we've planned an awesome trip to our favorite Medano Beach spot. If you are looking for fun things to do in Cabo San Lucas Mexico, you have to check out Billygan's. First we've got to hop aboard a tender and brave the rocky sea. Next we'll need to secure a water taxi, and then it's time for fun in the sun. We get in some terrific ocean frolicking, and I have a great opportunity to test out my new waterproof case for my iPhone • Waterproof Smartphone ... Then it's back on board the cruise ship for refueling and a beautiful sunset. Stick with us and you'll see more of our itinerary on our Star Princess 2016 Mexico cruise. What a beautiful day you had! I'm so glad you got a waterproof case for your camera...I would get so nervous whenever you would go in the pool without a case! Lol. Also, that sea lion riding the boat was hilarious! Another great video Sheri!

Me too. Too bad the case gave me some issues. I couldn't get the touch screen to work sometimes. Next time, it's the Scott way- GoPro all the way. Do you have the Hero 5 yet? we are in love with it. I crack up when my husband bosses it around with voice command! "GoPro, stop recording!".

I think tendering is great. It can slow down getting off and on the ship in a port, but it is entertainment in and of itself. The able seamen that operate the tenders are actually very skilled. I've watched them do steering maneuvers with nothing more than the throttles.

Loving these vlogs!!! We were in Cabo last March for our Ontario canada spring break & also went to Medona beach:) I would go back in a heartbeat, I confess, I was a little freaked on the water taxis as it was pretty rough. My hubby and two teenagers were laughing at me lol! I am loving your channel!!! We've cruised Carnival four times, (Miracle 3 times & Glory once), Princess (Caribbean once & Emerald once -that was our only 10 day & woukd love to so more 10 days-probably when the kids are away at college lol, & RCCL twice (freedom of the seas & indeoendance of the seas). My hubby wants to try Celebrity next year, have you guys tried that line?

Sheri, I love your vlogs! Do you just use a smartphone for your filming? I'm looking to buy a good camera for traveling for all my cruises, but I'm not very camera savvy. I'd probably take more pictures than videos, though. Also, you are killing me with those desserts!!!!

+Heather Fasching hey! Usually yes, I use my iPhone 6plus, bit sometimes we throw in the GoPro. These vlogs are 90% iPhone and the camera is so good, even for stills, that I hardly pack my bulky Nikon anymore!

Funny thing... When you look at Google Maps at "Lands End", the beach on the east side is "Lover's Beach". The west side is "Divorce Beach". I wonder how that came about? Lol!

We leave for this same cruise Saturday! (Ruby Princess from LA, SD, Cabo, La Paz, Loreto, and PV) we’re traveling with our 3 year old. I’m nervous about these boats in terms of getting in and out from the beach. Was that difficult?

A bit but the boat driver will help. My 76 year old mama managed with a little help. Have a wonderful cruise. Loreto is heaven. Have you seen our star princess vlogs? Same itinerary and wow, we loved it.

CruiseTipsTV were really excited about Loreto. We’ve decided to rent a car for the day as the cost is about the same as two cab rides. Our little one isn’t quite old enough for whale sharks or sea lions. But we’ve packed an inflatable boogie board that has a build in porthole for her to see the underwater creatures. We’ll see what we can see from the shoreline.

Hi Bethany! Yep, it's just a walk up. I don't think they take reservations. All of these restaurants are really casual and beachy. If they are busy (they usually aren't too bad) there are other choices all along the beach.

Forgive me, I'm a newbie. This will be my second cruise. Same destination (Princess, LA to PV, Mazatlan, Cabo). Going in March '18. How does the private water taxi work. I know you negotiated $10 r/t. I'm curious about the return trip. Do they just come back and get you at a pre-determined time? What if they don't? Is there a "ground" taxi to get back to the dock to catch the tender? Thanks!!

+christopher4644 yes and yes! That is an excellent question. The water taxi driver will ask you to remember the name of their boat- which will be prominently displayed on the side. The names are catchy like foxy mango or hot mamacita (no exaggeration)At the pick up time you set with the driver you watch the water for the boat and walk over to it. If you miss it, you can grab a land taxi back to the ship - you won’t miss it!

It depends. $4 each way is common, but you can negotiate.
