All that clean food. No added sugar, preservatives, salt, E numbers etc. In the UK we're eating takeaway junk food - chinese, chippys, Indians, McDonald's, crisps. Our fruit/veg is covered with pesticides.

Glorious flowering garden at your Godmothers house. I was given some Bashkir honey once and it is the best I have ever tasted. Although there are some excellent specialist manuka honeys down here in Australia that are amazing. The crafts your Mum makes are very appealing. I have good horticulturalist training and experience who can easily enjoy living your lifestyle. Seems you have developed a wonderful range of fruits, berries, vegetables and herbs, quite extensive, good looking polytunnel as well which helps a lot. Your lifestyle of living from the land super appealing.

Around here it's traditional to pickle watermelon rind. Tastes pretty good, too, though I've only tried it once. I'm not sure about the recipe but a basic sweet pickle recipe should work.

Buying honey locally is also best to help with allergies as a natural remedy. Your place reminds me of Rural Kansas in the USA. It is always easier for me to understand Russian when older people speak it as it is a second language for me. Maybe younger people speak faster. I could understand most of what was said in Russian here.
