Star Resonance is basically "Blue Protocol 2.0". Another dev studio bought the IP and is developing their own version of it. Beta already happened in China and is getting very positive reviews. Devs claim no Pay2Win and same monetization model as Blue Protocol (Gacha Cosmetics).

@@mesmorrow pay2win is something u pay for it and gain "power" in return or some kind of progression to pass others. gacha cosmetics is not pay to win its just pure cosmetics (unless u think of fashion as pvp and think of surpassing others in your fashion game lmao)

Blue protocol being canceled after a year or two was a huge disappointment, but i saw it coming. Its still hard to believe that they told us for so long that it would come and basically lied to all of us. That made me distrust the industry a lot, and i have no faith whenever i see a trailer for a new game like this. Like NONE. Ill believe it when i see it release in US and playable.

agreed,having Amazon and the Studio they were backing lie to Everyone for a year straight without suffering SOME kind of backlash or "Karma" never seemed very "Just." Important to note that this is another studio that is picking it up after Blue Protocols original devs failed. Another game studio that could have made their own game but decided to pick this up which means they 100% intent to release it

really shows how dragonnest is so much ahead of it's time. like how is it still so beautiful and superior mmo after so many years. although it's a dead game now but no game has surpassed it's Combat system especially the PVP while having a great graphics.

i don't buy it. it went from instanced freeroam zones and dungeons, with classes that you can customize and build upon with things likes those elements and creatures skills. now to just boss fights and locked elemental classes? i want an MMORPG, not another soul worker/ hub-to-dungeon game. they really fumbled the bag on the re-acquisition.

Having played Blue Protocol since the closed betas and have it not even make it to 2 years on release, I reserve judgement on a Chinese remake. It could be good, it could be the usual death by gacha crap. I doubt I will be playing it though. You spend a year playing a game and having fun only to have the developers say, "oh, game over in January" Disillusioned would be putting it mildly.
