Didn't know that Justin Moorland was actually real! On polish servers we only could add the account to the ignore list and no one knew about the experiment. The only thing I heard about at the time is that Justin is a hacker, which reminds me of an old polish sso urban legend - Kate Lionhome! I hope she won't get me after sharing her story... Allegedly the player Kate Lionhome was a hacker too. People said that she was also on english and german servers, but I have no friends from these countries to confirm that. It was said that she crashed entire servers after writing a single dot in the global chat as a warning. Kate would stand in between the Jarlaheim devil's gap gate and the actual blocked gate, the place that after quests you could only reach by jumping off of the walls surrounding the city. It was said that if you encountered her there, you would lose everything you have. Just like Justin Moordland, you could ignore the player, so that meant the account was real. Poor Kate was propably a regular player that was made into a monster... Another story from polish servers is the tale about Sally. I can't remember what the origins of her story were, what was she supposed to mean, but Sally was a black fresian horse (at that time, the gen1) that would stand in the red rose bush next to the unfortunate dews abandoned stable on forgotten fields. I don't know who started this legend, but it was WILD. Players started doing the wild horse bug and going to the rose bush in order to scare the curious riders who heard about Sally and wanted to check the thruth... Most of these cases would also happen at night, real night, because at that moment we didn't have the option to change the time in game. Polish kids would wait way past their bedtimes to see if the scary Sally would really haunt them. I experienced that, I was the haunted and the haunting and it was such a fun time :P Your videos are really a gem for the older and newer players. For the older to reminisce about the good old times (;D) and the newer to get even a little glimpse of how the game used to be... Waiting for more!

Omgg I remember those 🥺😔💖 I miss the old times when us- community still had some fun without clubs and mini games. When you could meet someone doing the same thing as you without searching for them. Also, urban legends in SSO had different Vibe then. Now, when there isn't night ambience, you fan change what moment of a day you want your game to look like, it lost its magic. SSO wants this game to be for kids because its easier target, but for me, any game, expecialy when it have such driven by nostalgia players, should think about them. Without community, game is shallow 😔😔😔

OMG! I'm so grateful that you left this comment, as I was swimming around for some forgotten SSO Urban Legends ... I came across the legend of Sally! I didn't have enough information at the time to include that story, but I'm so glad that you supplied me with more chilling details about her... ♡ The Kate Lionhome story is terrifying!! That is so crazy how she was able to gain a reputation like that, I have actually never heard about this one!! Needless to say... I know this video is old, but when it comes to urban legends, a certain legend from a Polish server comes to mind. The legend appeared around 2016 and was about a character named "Sally," who was either a black Friesian horse from generation 1 or rode on one. The legend said something like if you went to the Unfortunite Dews Farm at midnight and typed "Sally, Sally, come to us," you could encounter Sally, who would be standing on a cliff. After that, the Sally was supposed to chase you or something like that. I don't remember much of the legend because I was aware it was just a creepy story meant to scare the younger players, but to this day, it’s still considered a nostalgic story in the Polish community.

To add onto the Justin Moorland thing - the same happened with Conrad Maarsden. You could add him to your ignore list, I'm not sure if you still can :'). And the Potatowatcher scandal wasn't just a north american thing, either! I'm in the UK and we had it over here as well. 12 year old me was petrified of them - the story I heard that even being in the close vicinity of them risked your account being hacked, *especially* if their horse had the word Walrus in their name. SSO even referenced this in one of their quests - in the first year of the potato festival (2017), Marley says "I don't wanna be a potato watcher, I wanna be a potato eater!". Only that year had this dialogue though - you can find it in Seri Pixel Biologist's video on the event.

They also were in spring star, Western europe servers. Even I remember seen few of them causing a rucus around moorland.

I can confirm that you can add Justin Moorland onto your ignore list still! :o Creepy... But Conrad doesn't work anymore :( It would've been crazy if we had a chance to see the Conrad Maarsden account walking around xD I don't know if I ever did! I TOTALLY FORGOT ABOUT THE POTATO FESTIVAL DIALOGUE WOOOW!! This is a great addition and a great detail to add on to, thank you so much!! ♡ That is insane that SSO was aware of the worldwide stigma surrounding the Potatowatchers xD

Why did they all wear the same hungarian shirt? I’m just wondering, because we are not really known by other countries. The perfect word for this video is: mysterious. Hi, love your videos! I've been playing since 2014. On the Hungarian servers there was a legend about a hacker, I couldn't tell you when exactly (it spanned multiple years I'm pretty sure). I've heard a couple different versions of the story, but the gist of it was that there was this girl whose dad hacked SSO accounts for her. There were complete lists available online of the accounts she'd allegedly hacked so that people could ignore them. I STILL have them in my ignore list to this day lmao. The girl even had an askFM page where she bragged about her heists and had people asking her to hack specific accounts, I remember looking through it. Could have just been a fake account though, obviously. When I tell you people were PARANOIDDD. And that included 10-13 year old me as well lol. I've just looked up the account name and there are still guides from like 2015 on how to protect yourself from hackers which mention her. Oh and I also have very faint memories of the Justin Moorland thing. I don't think I ever actually saw them, but people were definitely talking about it. (Sorry, this is my third time posting this comment, YT keeps deleting it most likely because I initially put the link to askFM in it hahah)

There were some ridiculous rumors about those fridge doors. Some told that they heard screams in middle of the night while standing near them. Some speculated that there were some kind of a underground railway which dark core used or something. When I heard about those rumors, it interested me so much that I went to some of the fridge doors and just stood there, listening around. nothing ever came up though, as expected... It would be cool though tbh if there would be some sounds that were a bit spooky!

Ooh, I love Halloween and especially horror stuff! I didn't get to play some of these events, but I do remember in around 2015 hopping on my iPad, and interestingly looking at the update of everything... It was soooo different. I remember around that time, May changed into Maya. Those freaks about Justin Moorland I had heard. Even though I started in 2017, I had been around for a good 2 years after that. This was such a good episode! But, I have a game recommendation. Alicia Online. It's been around for about the same timelines as SSO. A pretty fun game. Been playing for about a year now. I cannot wait to finish this episode! Cya~

I know im a bit late but i wanted to share a story of af danish hack ofc you see hackers a bunch but this is the only one i've came acros my soon 4 years of playing sso it was harmless but i gonna share it anyway so i think the name of the hacker was like Francesca fireforest of something like that they stood on top of Steves farms barn and changed horse to the golden horse and horses you can't normaly get sometimes they would fly around with speedhacks on and beat the highscore of all the races but they got banned

She never moved or talked just stood there, you’d think after being afk for so long you’d be kicked from the game, but she never was. She was nicknamed the “night watcher” not very creative but pretty spooky
