This was my youngest first Disneyland ride and he was chosen as Rebel Spy. It's so magical cause I didn't even know the changes . I had only rode the original Star Tours when it had came out.

As someone who is on the autism spectrum and usually uses the DAS pass system, Star Tours is one of the queues I'm actually okay standing in. I don't know, there's something special about it.

I’m also on the spectrum but didn’t know I could get a pass. But usually Disney park lines are interesting enough for me not to get bored. Star Tours is my comfort ride and is my personal favorite in Hollywood Studios (I’ve never been to Disneyland)

I can’t believe it’s been so long since I’ve been to Disneyland that the ride was updated to the last movie’s characters. It’s nice that they changed the scenes. I wonder if it’s like the last big update where there are dozens of different cut scenes and are randomly put in so each ride is a little different? I still miss the original where we’re on our first tour…and also the droids. That was always fun since we were “out of control” but end up in the Death Star battle. Seeing the Death Star blow up on R2-D2’s screen was always cool.

I remember back in April 2023 on my Disneyland trip, I went to both this ride and Space Mountain dispite that I retired from Star Wars for complicated reasons, I had fun on them lol.

There are different randomized scenarios. The first time we got a team if probe droids. We got Vader the second time. Both were awesome

Sequel trilogy scenes have been added? No thanks. Star Tours used to be safe from all the Galaxy Edge nonsense...but now Disney has ruined this ride as well.

It's about 60-40 percent chance you'll get the Lucas movies. So the scenes still exist, but it's unfortunately pretty likely you'll also get sequel scenes too. That's why I make sure I've ridden the proper Star Tours at least once per trip. If I get the sequels, I'll ride it again with the OT scenes
