Well those romulan missles tore up the ships shields so I bet the ships who warped before just got ripped apart. And those who were able to get their shields up didn’t last much longer. If Nero didn’t see that it was the enterprise it would have been torn to shreds as well. Sooooo Spock having history with Nero is what saved the ship is what I’m sayin.

@@pendragonshall what’s it’s actually like is saying that a warship from the 1600’s would stand little chance against an armed merchant ship from the 1800’s which is true. In the future a mining ship that has to travel long distances to mine uninhabited planets would most likely be armed to protect against pirates. For similar reasons that 1800’s merchant ships were armed.

Is this when Bones realizes Kirk is alergic to (I forget the name) I'll look it up and post an edit. I love the references thrown in. From Kirk saying "I ripped my shirt again" to the brandy and toast scene. Just wow... I notice more and more each time I watch it.

1. Yes, Bones calls for Nurse Chapel. She never makes an appearance (that I know of). 2. If I'm reading into your question correctly, you are probably referring to ST:TWoK regarding McCoy's gift of a pair of prescription eyeglasses to Kirk on his birthday, where he says, "Normally, I'd recommend Retinex," to which Kirk responds, "I'm allergic to Retinex." It is not the same thing. Kirk is having a reaction to an alien flu vaccine. It is not anywhere in the ballpark of Retinex, which (as the same suggests) corrects deformities in the retina.

When Sulu was saying "arrival at" it would have been a good time to stop and approach Vulcan more slowly. Also, we saw huge chunks of ships floating around and as we have seen multiple times when the enterprise gets attacked they still have plenty of time to send out distress transmissions, so the fact that they received no transmission from anyone is BS. Also the fact that there werent dozens if not hundreds of escape pods floating around is ridiculous because again, large chunks of the other ships still existed which makes it likely that some beings could get out....

Sulu's mistake with the ''handbrake''. for lack of a better term, actually saved all their lives. Had the Enterprise left at the same time as the rest of the fleet, they're doomed.

I have the same problem with people understanding me. 😤 RIP Chekov Btw, you might want to put a dash or something (Star Trek - 2) in the title. Live long & prosper. 🖖

🤣🤣 My wife is from Korea and she had the hardest time pronouncing "Houston", where I lived before joining the military. She pronounced it "Hou-sin-ton". Needlessly to say she got better at pronouncing that word as I did at learning lot's of Korean words. Damned sad Anton Yelchin is no longer with us. RIP. 😢

Parts of the Enterprise look suspiciously like a brewery. Hmmmm warp engines full of beer, F'n a right, now that's what I call an engineering dept. Scotty give me warp 9 and put a head on it or we're all dead!
