One of the best episodes of DS9. And this is the Best scene. Too bad Odo and Kira do not end togerther. Great music. Thanks for the entertainment pally. RIP James Darrin - Vic.

This episode is so delightful, hilarious, and just another reason why DS 9 rocks. That scene with Kira singing "Fever" is outstanding---the music is sublime.

Happy Belated 26 year anniversary to Odo and Kira. It has been 26 years since they became a couple so congratulations to them.

Sometimes I hope that Kira can occasionally go visit Odo even after he rejoined the Great Link, since he has kept in touch with Worf during Picard S3

At 3:56 you can see on her face that she realizes that she loves him.

Yup, that's also when I get misty eyed. You don't normally associate anything romantic with Star Trek but this and when they kiss on the promenade in front of everybody, at the end of this episode, gets me every time.

Odo is so handsome in a suit!

What I like is INTERNAL on set jokes ideas interpretations of the REAL actors' personalities or on going interaction energy is put to use integrated by the producer/writers when making character voices and script dialogue so it all seems logical seemless from the starting BIBLE into the organic growth of the story throughout the seasons. I'm for sure someone in design clothing & other actors said 'Hey Rene you are hot great looking in an old school suit!' during the BaddaBing episode, fans gushing online... BOOM they had Kira and Odo mention it during their good bye.

Odo. The smoothest life form in the universe. James Darren is so cool!

You must mean catchy pop jazzy, as IT IS A JAZZ Melody Standard by Cole Porter the oldschool master of jazz.

Vic Fontaine should’ve sang Love and Marriage during this scene. He sang a lot of Frank Sinatra songs. Married With Children is my favorite sitcom of all time. Star Trek is my favorite non-sitcom of all time. The Star Trek franchise has a special place in my heart and it always will

Why do people cut off the most relevant part of the scenes? Where's the last bit when he realizes she's not a hologram but real?
@klyanadkmorr5 жыл бұрын
#1- I have it in another compilation HIS WAY clip if you were using my playlist and someone else's vid I included in my playlist has it. - kzbin.info/www/bejne/gl68fpxmi51gabc #2 This was just to show the real expressed love and discovery of it between them and romantic dance than bring up the after effect...WHICH I already have in another clip combining the dance & mistake and final kiss.

The stupid part about thid is he is crazy about this woman how does he not realise that its really her and not a hologram of her.
@klyanadkmorr3 жыл бұрын
You just have to believe that Odo really trusted Vick's holo programming ability, Odo was surprised at the real responses Kira was giving for a hologram but didn't question it until she kept demanding she wanted to leave the holosuite. Odo/Kira fans back then just went with it all to see them finally show their love and come together because the basic premise is 100% NOT Odo or Kira as they worked to destroy a Kira holo by Quark in S2 and by all rights her matrix from the accident causing the James Bond/Bashir accident should have been deleted right after they all got extracted. So it was smoke mirrors & fan service & writers making it so Kira & Odo finally got together.

A woman of a man dreams most of the time remains a dream. I myself fell in love with A friend of mine I fought hard against it until one day I admitted it to her. I don't know what to think I am not her type, but I know it's for the better we don't speak.

@@klyanadkmorr also didn't Quark get a secret Kira hologram. Seems kinda believable how easy it is to get a hologram of someone. Same with TNG, they used holograms of the crew all the time. Idk i completely bought it, its a fantastic scene, just lovely. Great climax to their arcs.
@harlemsound Жыл бұрын
That's just an example of how good holotechnology was. Remember..it's all fantasy!

I was just watching this and caught something odd. Vic tells Odo to be there at 9:00pm and says "that's 2100 for you" but the station runs on a 26 hour day. So isnt 2100, the 21st hour of the day, analogous to 8:00pm?
@klyanadkmorr3 жыл бұрын
Great thinking as AM/PM would be 13hrs(x2=26hr) so I fan decide Vic jumped to his ancient earth clock military 24hr time of 9pm by accident even tho he's a AI genius personae. =P otherwise writers whomever forgot even as they thought they were being clever with the dialogue.
