I am pretty sure the Delta flyer should have Borg torpedoes also. It was designed with a Borg inspired weapon system. I guess it was not included in this mod.

The Delta Flyer was so overpowered in Voyager, they even refit the thing. I'd say it's lore-accurate to a point in what happened here, but in the series that little craft seemed on-par with a Constitution class ship at least.

The Delta Flyer was supposed to be able to go toe to toe with Delta Quadrent threats, 200 years in the future. Even with the size difference, the power scaling doesn't seem to reflect that. IMO, not only should the flyer be able to run circles around Enterprise and never be hit by photons or torpedoes, but it also should be able to rip apart Enterprise in a couple of shots.

@@MegaZeta BC doesn't do a good job of showing technology scaling. Most of the differences are displayed in pure power differences. There is a good chance that, on paper at least, the Delta Flyer is under-powered compared to Enterprise but would still be essentially immune to Enterprise's weapons.

I forget what the armament is on the Delta Flyer. Hmmm, I'd still think that the NX would win if it had phase cannons and photon torpedoes. Just remember to go to Reed alert 🤣 In the second fight, you played it perfectly. Stay close and use your superior maneuverability and impulse speed. The computer kept its distance from the NX...big mistake 😄

More than 200 years more advanced the Delta Flyer just with 1 Phaser strike she had 8 type VI Phaser arrays 2 micro torpedo launchers in the side wings and 1 full size MK 25 launcher under the nose reinforced durannium hull paramatellic hull plating unimatrix shielding the 2nd version also has 2 Pulse Phaser cannons Mk 8. Cruising speed warp 6 maximum cruising warp 6.8 maximum sustainable warp 7.2, Emergency speed warp 8 for 8hrs.

Unless it's otherwise. Star Trek doesn't really present weapons or defenses consistently, which is to its benefit, since those are just secondary tools to tell its stories.

The Delta Flyer should win pretty much all the time - Phase Cannons wouldn't penetrate the shields at all...you are right though the Torpedo's would hurt. Polarised Hull Plating is still a valid defence option even in the 24th Century, it won't be anywhere near as strong as shields but under certain circumstances it outperforms shields. If USS Reliant had Hull Plating in the Mutara nebula when Khan fought Kirk it would definitely give Kahn the edge as it would be unaffected by the nebula. Against the Borg it could provide a secondary defence after the shields fail much like Ablative Armour does except you dont have to replace it after every fight. Finally in the early days of dealing with the Dominion if USS Odyssey had Hull Plating as well it would have lasted a lot longer and may have survived the fight as its warp nacelles would have been protected from the Phased Polaron beams which got through Starfleet shields...solid armour would be much more effective. Finally even if all power was lost on a starship like when the Breen energy drained the fleet at Chin'Toka hull plating would still be polarised and buy the crew time to escape. I bet an Oberth Class would be able to tank a fair amount of weapons fire if it had Hull Plating as well as Shields - Its a tech they really should have kept around

I don’t think it’s the case that ST ships are vulnerable to kinetic weapons. Navigational deflectors alone keep the ship safe from things hitting it at relativistic speed. Photons etc. are a type of energy kinetic weapon but they don’t slice through shields like you’d expect them too. Perhaps it’s just a quirk of the game? Or else why wouldn’t Starfleet just start lobbing projectiles at the Borg or other enemies? Lore wise, at least.

delta flyer could cripple nx -01 easily. it's way too maneuverable for the nx-01 to lock on. remember that small little romulan ship that was a holog ship running rings around the nx-01 picking at it badly the delta flyer could do the same thing but even faster. i would say no more than a dozen phaser shots nad nx-01 is dead in space. easy

Can someone tell me how to get closer to enemy ships? I press 9 to go faster and even mouse wheel up, but I don't get all that close. Would waste a lot less torpedoes that way. lol.

Im having problems with brirdge commander remastered because it just zoom into the corner of my screen and doesn't allow me to use my mouse. I was wondering if there is anything to stop this. Its really annoying that it doesn't work, especially since I followed you instruction vid, Idk whats going wrong. Any advice helps

If you right click on stbc.exe - go to compatibility, then go down to Change HIGH DPI settings. Click on this, then click on Override DPI Settings (The Bottom One). This fixes it 99% of the time!
