This is utter rubbish, the quadrants in Star Trek refer to the Galaxy not the entire universe. The Galaxy is finite, and one small portion of the universe. Space-time is finite, expanding into the infinite universe. It has nothing to alternate realities, It's just the way the galaxy is split up for navigation.

This is just terrible. I can't get past the rambling about how multiple outcomes can cause alternative timelines and universes. I mean halfway through the entire video and the same information is relayed over and over by examples from various Star Trek episodes. We are all here because we are obviously Trek nerds so we need very little coaxing into the lore and tech. We are already hooked on it or we wouldn't be watching a video on this subject lol

The title of this video shows the total lack of understanding here. The size of the universe has nothing to do with the shape of (or the mapping of) a single galaxy. I'm talking to the writers and creators here, not the viewer, the viewers already know.
