The Breen are cool because we know nothing about them and learning more about them would diminish their cool factor. They are best left a mystery. I thought it was cool how the Breen didn't talk but made weird garbled noises that everyone could somehow understand.

Man, the Breen were such a lazily implemented antagonist race in the show. It's like, they wanted to diminish the Jem'Hadar's capabilities for whatever reason but still wanted a primary physical antagonist race, and it was too late in the game and they were too fatigued to create another new race with a fleshed-out history and culture and biology and everything, so they were just like "Let's introduce a new race anyway and just not do ANY of that!" "Genius!" "Brilliant!"

Before Cardassia joined the Dominion, you neglected to mention that multiple individuals of significance from the Alpha/Beta quadrants had been captured by the Dominion, including Enabran Tain, Elim Garak, Lt Cmdr Worf, and an unnamed Breen who shared a cell with them in a Gamma Quadrant prison, along with General Martok and Dr Julian Bashir, who had both been replaced by Founders. It is possible that this Breen captive had also been replaced by a Founder. But no information concerning the Breen was gained from this encounter by Bashir, Worf, Martok or Garak, who went on to survive and escape their capture, returning to the Alpha Quadrant.

I hadn’t reached that part of the video! 😂 Chronologically however, it might have made more sense to include those events in the Dominion prison in the Gamma Quadrant BEFORE Cardassia joined the Dominion. Although I understand narratively why you used it as part of the explanation for Changeling infiltrators.
