@@Nerdporeal II, III, IV, and VI are the best of TOS cast' movies. The Motion Picture (I) is a beautifully produced movie that's big in scope, has great special effects, and a great score, but the story did not need to be over two hours and really felt slow and dragged out. It also could have benefited from more light humor that made the show so fun. The Final Frontier (V) just does not work on a story / script level. Interesting concept, but the execution of it all was just a campy disaster. The cast and the great score by Jerry Goldsmith keep are highlights though.

Ricardo Montalban was such a Class Act! Scared the pants off me in "Space Seed" in1968, & again in Wrath of Khan. God, I miss Them All! Michael McClary

I saw it in the cinema when it came out and again last year. It is truly a magnificent story in classic Star Trek. The scenes in the nebula are tense and spectacular made all the more exciting with Horner's fantastic adventure score.

3:26/15:35 I love the echo-effect and mixture between the Ship bell and the bass strings pucked strong by hands just like drums on this part when the Reliant it's coming, they give more dramatic in this situation - like the Shark in the waterski scene in JAWS 2 !
