It took me awhile to watch this show and I'm so glad that I did. It is fun! I don't care about KZbinrs and critics calling it pandering and fan service. Star Trek has been around for so many years and it deserves such a fun show that holds its own but hearkens back to its own history. For the haters...Star Trek isn't gonna die. Lower Decks is not a lazy effort at pandering. It's a lovingly crafted homage to all we've come to adore since our childhood. There will be plenty of Star Trek to come...filled with compelling new characters that will likely be killed cause that's what people want now. Just enjoy this awesome show that's leans into why we are fans. It's a show about make believe people, have fun or don't watch. LOWER DECKS!

Any of you born November 29 to December 17 are actually Ophiuchians, as that is constellation in the solar ecliptic you were born under the the universe that is not a recording of the nonsense instituted ~2300 years ago, according to observations! They are all such actual fans! I say this is delightful as an OG fan! (Mariner is the new Kirk!) 1 person in all the long star trek history that has been an actor and became a writer is Tawny! So many of the people on all sides of the camera are now already fans that this will probably continue! The actor that played Riley is now a camera-operator on Strange New Worlds would not surprise me. This culture is generous unlike any other!
