The Federation or what is left of it has allied themselves with the Iconians to fight off against Control Borg. Control in this universe avoided being destroyed and joined forces with the Borg. So Discovery in this universe failed in getting rid of Control. And they have been fighting them ever since then. Sela is a good guy and is the Captain of the Enterprise-F, and our character's counterpart in this universe was friends with Sela but is supposedly dead during a battle near the Bajoran Wormhole. And at 33:24 (Spoiler.) Tasha Yar is alive in this universe, Alright. However, she is the Borg Control Queen in this universe. The Aetherian who accompanies you seems to be immune to the Borg Controls attacks since he looks around and then stuns the Borg Queen to allow Sela to destroy the World Heart before the Borg Queen can assimilate it. The Iconians understand why she had to destroy it considering how dangerous the Borg are. This Sela has a better relationship with the Iconians than the Prime Universe version, most likely because the events of this universe happened differently. The Borg Control nanites turned into a version of one of those worm creatures on Nimbus 3. And did that Aetherian really die when he stayed behind to fight that thing? It looked like he did a self-destruct on himself to destroy that thing but did he really? I think he faked his death considering that he seemed very interested in the Iconian World Heart before Sela destroyed it. Which makes me think that the World Heart wasn't destroyed. It just looked like it was destroyed. One of the earlier missions in Star Trek Online involved stopping the Vorgons from getting the Tox Uhtat, Daniels mentions that Picard made it look like he destroyed the Tox Uhtat back in the Next Generation episode Captain's Holiday. Edit: I was actually expecting these Borg Control Collective to say "Resistance is pointless." Since they are part Borg and part Control, so that their line is half and half but they instead say Control's line "Struggle is pointless."

I've still got the feeling that the Aetherians are the real bad guys. I'm betting the one team member who sacrificed himself for everyone to get on the shuttle isn't really dead. I doubt that was the real Word Heart that got destroyed either.

Me too. I wish they'd release two episodes instead of just one. It also makes me mad that they're taking so long to release the episodes too.

@@seanwolslau-holdren6731me too as I got to find out what really going on. There something wrong and I do not like it. The hint is what the borg king say about keeping an eye on your friends and about a a knife to the back.
